21 y/o here. Just wondering if there’s advice for dealing with guilt tripping parents. I’ve been on this sub before, read some of the literature. Every area in my life has growth except for dealing with parents. Background: my parents are traditional Strict Indian parents who are very much against any taboo; I was scared of them as a child. Nowadays the fear is gone but they’ve replaced it by guilting me out of doing things. Recently, I’ve been hell bent on getting my ears pierced, something that is very taboo for my parents to handle. I talked to them about it, let them know regardless of their permission I was going to do it. Just as I was about to leave, my father of all people, breaks down and cries telling me that he wants me to be happy but if I love my parents and respect them that I won’t pierce my ears. It was a fucking curveball, I had every intent of going but as soon as he dropped that line I knew that if i went through with it, that I’d feel like shit.

TLDR; Told strict parents that I was getting my ears pierced, everything fine until I was about to leave. Dad starts crying saying he knows it would make me happy but I’m doing so I would be hurting and showing my parents I don’t love them. Help with parents guilt tripping?

Serious question. I'm 18 and in college, very lean and muscular thanks to years of lifting and good genetics. How do I convey this to girls in class/wherever properly? I can't wear tank tops because I go to school in New England and it's freezing. Right now I wear a slim fit Ralph Lauren classic polo under a coat which I take off in class.

What clothes/brands are ideal for my body type? I'm 5'11, 140lb, 7% bodyfat. Be as specific as possible with the brand and which line of their clothing, I've found that slim fit of the classic Ralph Lauren polo works perfectly but they're insanely expensive

Ive been really looking for some RP advice in regards to the condition or fallacy of mental Illness in men.

I have been on my RP journey since 21 (now 23) and have been making steady progress in my quest to kill the beta in me. While still much to achieve, I feel the internal adjustments necessary for a profound change have been a sticking point for me. I was recently diagnosed with BP1 disorder after having a "manic episode" this fall which got me into some trouble. This happened at the exact moment I was really starting to notice a difference in the way I saw/felt about myself, interacted with others, and went about my days. I felt truly confident, I was crushing it with my business, gaming chicks like a boss, getting tons of attention from females just from my attitude (Im physically a scrawny dude at the moment), had no fear or SA in social situations, and even managed to bang my high school sweetheart who used to blow me off (which wasn't nearly as gratifying as I had imagined).

Anyways, after my episode which ended in minor legal trouble, I had to start seeing a therapist, hence my diagnosis. Basically in a nutshell what I was told was the changes/progress I thought I had made were the results of the hypomanic/manic episode. I was said to have exhibited "Extreme narcism, grandiose delusions, exuberant confidence, and a hyper sex drive". After hearing this, this completely nuked my reality as I began to question if the changes were genuine. I for once was not stuck in a state of depression and apathy, but the "real me" is? Unfortunately after all this had run its course it sucked me back to into a state of dissonance. Of course I can still "fake" those behaviors but it is not nearly as fulfilling as knowing it is truly coming from within.

Im aware very little of you are psychotherapists, but Id be grateful to hear your opinions on the matter if these conditions actually exist , and if it is possible to get back into the state where I feel, and am confident in my own worth. Whenever I feel I positive change in my psyche I am often questioning if it is real or a symptom of my "condition"

TL;DR- I was diagnosed with BP1 at the pinnacle of my progress. I am left questioning if those changes are possible for me or if BP1 actually effects men. I don't want play the "victim", I want real changes.

Right now my frame is full of holes, and she knows it (and enjoys it). I'm an emotional mess, and can't stop asking myself why the fuck this ended so soon, I knew this was going to end eventually, but not right after it started.

So here goes my question, is there any point in confronting her and asking? She clearly doesn't like to talk about 'US', and goes full defensive when I hint anything.

Also, since I already shat where I eat, how can I cope with this? I even tried fucking women from Tinder to forget about this, but having her there all the time keeps me reminding that I have no mental power at all, that she giving me one of the best moments of my life and taking it away can fuck me all over. I feel powerless.

I've also considered talking about this with my boss, he is a father figure to me, Redpill as fuck, knows her since she was 12 with all of her issues, so he knows how to handle her perfectly.

On a side note, in all of my life, I never could truly appreciate my own progress for more than 10 minutes. On the last years, and mostly, the last months, I've destroyed a shit ton of mental barriers and made lots of improvements to my life. But no matter how much I move forward, every step back fills my mind with anxiety and insecurity. How do you deal with this?

I have a question about shaking insecurity of my financial position relative to the girls I’m seeing. I’m 25, and have some college education but I work full time in a trade. I make decent money for a someone with out a college degree. Enough to have my own car and my own place in nicer section of a large city. However, I come from a lower middle class to poor, single mother upbringing. If I’m out with a girl and she mentions she’s from a wealthy family, my confidence gets shaken. I think part of it stems from a feeling that she’s lived a more interesting life due to things (i.e travel, experiences, etc) that wealth affords. While trying to improve myself is there any advice you can give to maintain my internal frame when this comes up?

I've been lifting for about 2-3 years, but have only taken it seriously for about a year or so (Now 23 y.o). Before lifting I was shredded/athletic because I was playing sports. Now that it is winter I am bulking up and my abs are slowly fading but I feel bigger/fuller. Currently sitting at 161 pounds at 5'11. I mainly train for hypertrophy. Im asking simply because I'm confused. Theres a girl who said she wants to be my girlfriend and that she "likes" me a lot. Let it be known, we're both seniors in highschool. I don't think she's "the one" or anything, but she's a nice girl and it'd be nice to see how she'd do in a relationship. What confuses me is that in school she will always walk up to me, and take me to my classes, and try to hold my hand and all that junk, but outside of school she is 100% distant (supposed to be the other way, right?).

 So I am starting my first real full-time job Monday. Great pay for put of school, great benefits. All being said, this seems to be the only thing interesting women my age (I am 23, the age group I am around tends to range from 21-26 y/o). To the following question, It actually lifts me up a ton in terms of the women available. I grew up extremely poor, for the bulk of my life at poverty level. Just graduated college and make well above the average graduate. I can afford better housing, food, clothes.
