The guys point is actually completely valid. Any guy going in knows she is getting half. I just lost a decent chuck of money through my divorce. But I knew the odds and stakes going into in. I can't call it divorce rape because I regret losing my money.

Great men have been getting hosed in divorce for years. All the guys getting married know it can happen. They go in with their agency in-fucking-tact. Its not like these guys are getting married and the divorce clause is in fine print. Divorces make the headlines of the tabloids every week at the market.

Kobe's ex deserves the money just the way a that guy swings ass deserves it. Because they got the other person to agree. Stop with your fucking just world fallacy. Red Pill is an amoral sexual strategy and getting divorced is amoral as well. Have some integrity. We're gloating at every field report about spinning plates and get angry at the capstone of the females game?

Kobe should have got a divorce after he got accused of rape. Someone should have told him the divorce clock is ticking, it's going to happen. It's just when. Then it's a calculation (if there were kids in the house) how much is a few years more of them in the house worth?

So, what we do here is give good advice. "Don't get married. Oh, your getting married because you want kids? Get a prenuptial..... Oh shit, it didn't work out and your getting divorced? We have your back. You can vent here and be angry. You better? Help us spread the word"

I put up my FR after my divorce. Helped me process and the support from the community was greatly appreciated. But as I get further away from it the less angry I get.

Bracing myself for downvote oblivion, but I think I can at least explain divorce laws in a way that makes sense.

Kobe's wife is hot. We all know that. We also know that she basically sold Kobe exclusive access to her youth (she was 19 when she got married), her fidelity, and her genetics (they have two kids together). Now normally, these things wouldn't be worth $180m or whatever crazy settlement she was asking for. However, there's an inherent opportunity cost associated with those sales - Kobe's wife will never be able to pledge exclusive access to her youth, fidelity and genetics ever again.

There's an old proverb that says "the worth of a thing is what it will bring". So long as men are offering such ridiculous sums of money to attractive women for exclusive access to these things (Mel Gibson would be a great example), then that will be their value. In the case of Kobe's wife, I think it's perfectly reasonable to assume that she could have landed another guy dumb enough to offer her $200m+ for those things. Hell, she landed one already!

In the bigger picture, the willingness to pay that much money is the problem, not the divorce settlements themselves. If we want lower divorce settlements, then the onus is on the guys who are essentially purchasing commitment to do so in a fiscally responsible manner, and not just throw half of their stuff at the first girl with huge tits and a nice smile.

So, we should complain only about the fact that we are on the wrong side of the spectrum regarding marriage laws ? And if we were on the "right" side, well good for us ? Seriously, this is the exact same "logic" displayed by the standard 20's bitch at the beginning of the party before getting wasted.
