Can't comment on how or whether it affects testosterone since I've never had mine measured, but I definitely find my sex drive is up and anxiety levels are down when I take ashwagandha. I've tried doses up to six grams daily and it seems to get better the more you take. Six grams is the highest amount that has been studied scientifically (no side effects in six months at this dose) so that is where I stopped.

I've never noticed any side effects and I've been taking this for over a year.

I'm also taking magnesium, 10k IU vitamin D and a multivitamin, which I plan to replace with just zinc even it runs out, plus 3000 mg fish oil. Haven't noticed any perceptible effects from these but I've just read that I should be taking vitamin K and fat with my vitamin D, so I may not be absorbing much of it.

The only way to substantially increase your testosterone levels is to inject some and it's way cheaper than taking a million different supplements that your body probably can't even absorb let alone raise your T levels

Ginger root as well. I take ashwagandha, ginger root, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon and garlic regularly. All for various reasons. Ive seen some stuff about ginger, garlic and turmeric boosting T levels. Personally I dont really worry that much about it. I cook all my own meals, nothing pre-prepared or anything like that. I drink a lot of smoothies as well. Very easy to just work these supplemental herbs and spices into your diet and eventually you hardly notice youre taking them anymore.

Seriously go put a teaspoon or two of ginger into a glass of milk. Shit is delicious and soothes the stomach pains I get as a result of a brain injury. Idgaf if it actually boosts my testosterone or not

naturally boosting test is crap, you wont notice anything unless your morbidly obese and have levels of 100ng/dl and you bring them to normal. all those over the counter test boosters and supplements are crap and over exaggerated. You will be lucky if you get a 2% boost, and it wont do anything. The only way test makes a noticeable difference is if you are literally quadrupling your levels from like 400 to 2,000. everything else is placebo.

Many people are advicing to just inject testosterone. While the advice is true, but its really not such simple solution as they are making it to be. Injecting T makes the body to cease production of T that is made naturally inside testes. So you have to be real careful with the quantity to inject. In worst case scenarios, the natural means of production are forever ceased, and you will have to be forever be dependent on injections. When it comes to injecting T, "more is better" is never the case.

Also the T inside the body takes no time in turning into the female hormone estrogen. This would be the last thing you will be wanting. You will have to take aromatase inhibitor to stop T turning into estrogen.

After your cycle you will have to take Nolvadex so your body can start making T by itself again.

Testosterone is what makes a man a man. Estrogen is what makes a woman a woman. For a man having medium level of T and low level of E is far better than having high T and high E. You gotta maintain the ratio of T and E. Ideally a man should have high T and low E. To achieve this you need to have low body fat and more muscle mass.

For a genetically beta like me who is cursed with short height, skinny fat body and feminine face.. the only way to experience how its like to be alpha was to inject T.

Women are physically attracted to those men whose body indicates high T levels. Broad shoulders, prominent jawline and cheekbones, big penis. All of it indicates that you had plenty of T during puberty and your immune system was good enough to make you survive such plenty T levels.

If you weren't blessed with high T during puberty, then its no need to lose complete hope. You can still taste the alpha life through injecting. In an experiment the beta chimpanzees who were injected with T, stopped being submissive to the big alphas. Its amazing to think about. The small beta chimpanzees still remained small, and still much physically weaker than the alphas. But T still managed to give them the attitude of a big alpha.

Hey BornShook. Crazy your post, Everything you outlined is almost exactly to the point of my own research ive done over the past few months. After realizing how fked up I was due to low T (I was getting extremely stressed and very emotional abt everything, always second guessing my jugements and caring too much about what other thoughts of me), I made many changes that I recomend to everyone, in order of priority:

Lift HEAVY Weight. There is no going around it.
Avoid Soya & Plastic Containers. You will be surprised how 90% of all transformed food contains soy. Plastic containers have endocrine disruptors that mimicts estrogen, which blocks your T.
Take Supplementation ( BornShook did a good job here in this post, only thing ill add is Fenugreek seeds )
Intermittent fasting

This is terrible advice.

Unless you’re some low T soy boy or a middle aged man you shouldn’t need to “supplement” testosterone.

If you feel like you have Low Testosterone go to your physician and have a blood test to confirm. Dont just start slinging cash left and right on supplements because some armchair scientist on reddit tells you to.

My go to source for info on supplements is Examine.

They source actual scientific studies and have an easy to read chart that shows how effective the supplement was as well as how consistent the results were.

They also list any possible side effects or precautions.
