Everyone Is not equal

Back in highschool, a time when I was a completely fuck off and had the most truest sense of IDGAF ever in my life(Straight F's my freshman year). I remembered being in an english class and we had a teacher that wanted to discuss discrimination, bigotry, bias and prejudice and how true equality could be achieved(she was a bit of a hippy). The class went off on the typical Miss America ideals and how to achieve via everyone accepting one another as fellow human beings, be considerate of others feelings and I can’t remember exactly but I bet the phrase “world peace” came into play at least once. As the discussion continued though my cognitive dissonance kicked in eventually and in a very rare sight to behold, as I was a social outcast at the time, I raised my hand and had an even rare moment of brevity,

“as long as differences are between one another, there will be prejudice.”

The only reason I remember this today is because the veritable pin fucking dropped, I really didn't think it was that big of a revelation but the entire class turned to me after i said it, making me feel awkward as fuck and a girl i liked(that i never spoke to) said, “Wow dzuari, that was philosophical as shit.” But not as an endearing “I liked that” kind of tone, more of a, “did he just speak?”.

I think this was the first time in my memory that I had a true RP thought. I didn’t really care how to achieve the proposed goals in the class, not because i disagreed with them or thought they were wrong or i was some kind of bigot. I very much agree that discrimination, bigotry and prejudice is a horrible thing, but they are a byproduct of extreme and differing opinions, but having different opinions isn't a bad thing. I really just didn’t give a fuck about the class and though the discussion was pointless. All i did was state the reality of the situation. I proposed the “Why”, not the “how”. I showed the flaw in the logic of my immediate members of my society(Classroom).

This is a core thing to TRP, fuck what people tell you your reality is or should be, this is the reality, this is the ”why”.

Today, our society teaches us that we are all special little snowflakes, we are all equal and can do whatever we want in life. What they don’t tell you is that it takes a whole hell of a fucking lot of work to be an astronaut or be as rich as Donald Trump. They don’t teach you that some people have it easier than others, that you may be born in the ghetto and you have to work your ass off a lot more to get to the same level that a trust fund baby reaches. If you are ugly as fuck, you’ll have to work a lot harder than Brad Pitt did to be desirable and handsome.

This mentality breeds the entitlement generations you see today.

They don’t tell you that, while you have the same opportunities as everyone else, you might be at a disadvantage. They don’t teach you how to overcome these disadvantages, hell they don’t even acknowledge that you might be at a disadvantage because that goes directly against the mentality of “everyone is equal”.

No, ”Everyone is not equal, but everyone has the same opportunities.”

Equality is the pipe dream our society shoves down your throat and the biggest travesty that perpetuates or lives every day.

Is equality a noble thing to pursue? No, equal opportunity is. Is equality a good thing to work towards? No, equal opportunity is. Should equality be the reality we romanticizes and strive for?

No. because “as long as differences are between one another, there will be prejudice.”

If you are new here, this mentality is nothing but a hindrance for you. This is probably the biggest issue of TRP and what causes the most butthurt for people that find it and the astounding cognitive dissonance and hamstering. Your entire life you've been told that you are just as good as everyone else. Hell kids today get a participate ribbon just for being in a sport, they don’t even keep score or tell the kids who won or lost. You've won by existing, be happy that you have that.

The reality is, evolution made women and men not equal yet we write laws to legislate away the past 2.5 million years of natural selection. We institutionalize equality while the reality is anything but what is preached. Society made you not equal to your best friend, your father isn’t equal to your grandfather, no one on the face of this earth was born in the exact same circumstances you were. You may have the same college degree, but that doesn’t mean you are equal to your valedictorian. You are not entitled to a job just because you have a vagina and the other person doesn’t. You are only worth as much as you put into yourself, and the majority of people only put in the bare minimum, don’t be most people. Onitis and scarcity mentality is this type of mentality, ”you’ll never find another girl as good as her(Because all girls are equal and you should just be glad you and her exist)”. It’s ingrained into you on a subconscious level. The reality is that the majority of girls are not relationship material or worth your time and most guys aren't either.

We are not equal you and I. (and that's fine, it's fine if you don't agree with someone, you don't have to give a fuck about someones feelings, don't bend your knee or cater to those who demand respect for merely existing in your life.)

You do however have the same opportunities as the person next to you, so stop bitching about your reality and become the best man you can with what you have. Don’t be equal.
