These two are my personal favourite. They are the hallmark of a strong man.

If you’re not good at something, accept the fact and don’t blame others.

If a bigger man knocks you down, get back up and work on improving yourself.

You're never going to be #1 at most things, accept it, and learn from those who rank higher. You will climb faster than those who wallow in their inferiority.

There is another one I caution against:

Help those weaker than yourself help themselves to become stronger.

Do this from a place of strength. If you have accumulated wealth, use it to better those closest to you. Until that point, don't waste your resources. Resources beget more resources, you need to work on building your empire first. Don't waste what little you have.
