SUMMARY: Girl wanted me to orbit. I refused. Sex ensued.

Like many former BP'ers, I have made the colossal mistake in my youth of thinking that the friendzone is a valid way to get a girl. This is yet another reason I love the Red Pill.

Of course, being an orbiter NEVER leads to sex. It just flat-out doesn't. Recent example:

I met an attractive girl in the neighborhood I work, and we hit it off. I asked her out; she said she has a boyfriend.

I said, cool, I'll see you around. She said, we can still hang out, right?

I said no, I'm not interested in being friends. She asked me why not? I told her that I have several healthy and strong friendships with males, and that I don't keep female friends in general.

I'd still see her around, since we worked in the same area of the city, and maybe once every 6 weeks we'd be bump into each other at the cafe, and we'd end up chatting and flirting. Still no hanging out, though.

Recently, she dumped her BF. And of course, she contacted me the very next day and told me about it.

I played it cool, because I actually wasn't really interested anymore-- she seemed to be more trouble than good. So, I didn't ask her out. Instead, we texted on occasion, and she told me about how she's really enjoying dating, OKcupid, all that crap. I told her, great, enjoy! I tell her all about my dating life, so what the hell do I care.

Then she started up with the friendzone shit again-- she was getting too close to me, and I could tell she was trying to rely on me more and more for attention (mostly via text messaging).

Again, I made it clear I'm not here to be her friend. Hop skip and a jump later, she's at my place and I'm fucking her.

My point with this is that girls would LOVE to have you as their orbiters. You must maintain frame at all times-- as soon as a girl sees you as an orbiter, as a sexless beta friend, you've lost. It's all over; you'll never fuck her.

The male-female dynamic is very simple actually: the man gives the woman attention so that the woman will give the man sex; the woman gives the man sex so that the man will give the woman attention. This applies even to self-described "sex positive" women: they want attention far more than they want sex.

In an orbiter situation, the fundamental machinery is broken: the man is providing attention, but he's not getting sex in return.

Conclusion: HOLD FRAME! Always, always hold frame.

EDIT: lots of people inquiring about my flippant "hop skip and a jump later" phrase, so I'll elaborate.

She would be flirty, then she'd suddenly switch to "I think I'd rather just be friends" mode. Literally, she'd be flirting heavily, and then once I'm giving her attention back, she'd dictate to me "ok we're friends now."

Whenever that happened, I'd say "no, I'm not your friend." I literally would say that. She'd ask me to hang out, but in a friendship capacity, and I'd say no. I told her that I'll spend the day with her if it ends at my place.

Make no mistake: I held frame for MONTHS of seeing her around. It helped that I made sure to be pursuing other women constantly. Gotta avoid oneitis.

And most importantly, I was ready to never talk to her again, and I made sure she knew it.

Come on, guys. Get a life, get a hobby, do a sport, start a band, hang with your buddies. But NEVER ever become an orbiter. That's a host-parasite situation, and guess which one you are?
