Fast forward 5 minutes and my girlfriend is blackout hitting on all these random guys, telling them about how she wants to keep the party going or whatever, basically inviting them over to her bed. Hypergamy at work, I'm not even out the door and shes looking for the next replacement fuck.

Look at it this way, you have a more realistic view of women and reality now, and it came early in your life so probably don't have a huge amount of assets (or kids) at risk. This revelation could have come much later, and along with it the loss of huge amounts of resources which would have been a major kick in the balls. So keep that in mind in future, it doesn't matter how good the relationship is at first there's always room for hypergamy to kick in and for her to screw you to climb the social ladder.

Women don't love you, only what you can do for them (money, making them feel good, etc)

I wouldn't be too down on it. If you're in decent shape and lift you are probably going to slay it as a single guy with females in your program, and being in a graduate program gives you some SMV amongst 21-30 year old female market, in my experience.

My LTR backed out on me too prior to graduate school. I was, at the time crushed, but had two months to get in really good shape, and did so. When I got to graduate school, I couldn't believe the HB8s in my program, and my SMV compared to the betas, was like a wolf in the hen house. I started running plates before I knew what they were, and looking back at those times, I have to say, it was the best hookup environment/opportunities I ever had.

I want to call bullshit on the op so bad, but I have a feeling its true. In my opinion, this is a blessing. Just imagine going to school far away and while you're busting your ass off going for the PhD, you will be spending a great deal of time being worried about her cheating on you. And that will eat you alive.

Say three weeks you guys are away from each other, every time she texts back slowly, or text back in short messages or something, the first thing you going to do is think she cheating on you. You will keep worrying about it. Every Facebook post can be read as a subliminal message. So I think this is a good thing that happened to you.

And the reason why I say I don't want to believe this is real, but have a feeling it is, is because I experienced something very similar and it was by far the most humiliating thing that has ever happened to me. But in the end I'm way better off with that girl out my life. So I'm sure you'll be fine
