I'm new here and I've noticed I'm a bit older than most so hopefully my experience can help some of the younger guys avoid my mistakes.

If you've seen my posts here you'll know that I've exclusively dated Eastern European women for the past 10 years, with TWO exceptions. I'll detail those in future posts as they are great examples of what not to do :)

A few years back I approach an Eastern European girl at her place of work, get the number and seal the deal a week later.

As expected, she's much more feminine than Western women so I keep seeing her and eventually LTR her.

Fast forward a few years, we're living together in a nice place, which I pay for as she has decided working in lowly retail jobs is beneath her.

I let this go as she cooks, cleans, regular sex, all is well with the world. Soon however, she starts pressuring me for a ring.

I'm not into the whole signing half my assets away in a state backed contract thing and I explain this. She's not happy.

Months of pressure later things are much worse, she's going out to meet friends without me and we're barely on speaking terms but still living together on my dime.

I explain again that I love her and have no problem committing but I'm not getting married. She demands that she wants a husband end of story.

So one day, I come home from work and the place is empty, all her stuff is gone, including her. And there's a text waiting for me saying good luck. No goodbye, nothing.

Keep in mind, I've paid for pretty much everything for a long time, didn't cheat, treated her pretty well, keep working on my career etc.

THREE weeks later, I find out she's banging some dude. THREE months later she's engaged to him. And less than a year later they are married.

Interestingly, this guy works some dead end job with no prospects, doesn't lift, broke as fuck.

She was willing to trade down in order to get commitment in the form of a ring and a contract.

I'm not trying to shatter the myth that Easter European women are some holy grail. Yes they are better than Western women in my mind, and yes I will continue to only date them but at the end of the day AWALT.

But AWALT has a cultural spin, Western women value money and nice things and will trade your ass in to get them. Eastern European women value commitment and family and will trade your ass in to get those.
