edit - As a courtesy I'll just let anyone reading this know in advance that I have been elucidated by my fellow brethren here. I now recognize that this Field Report is a great example of what NOT to do. I take it as a learning experience. Lesson for the day='Just because you got laid doesn't mean you came out ahead.'

With that said, I've changed the flair from "Field Report" to the much more accurate label of "Blue Pill Example".

I'll start with a quick thank you to the community. Still sort of new to TRP, but happy to be seeing measurable results with these methods.

This is my first Field Report and first time since applying TRP in my daily life that I was really happy with how I handled the situation versus the old me. I looked for a FR Megathread to post this in but those don't seem to be posted nearly that often.

I'm going to assign myself the name James and the plate the name Kaylie for the purposes of this FR.

Setting the stage, this was 1 week ago. Texting with a plate and it started as such:

Plate: 6:37pm - What are you up to tonight?

Me: 7:03pm - I'll be spending the night at yours.

[She's a live-in at some kind of family home, so she has to be home each night.]

Plate: 7:08pm - Good answer. I'm working at [place] right now but I'll text you when I get home

[I don't respond but move forward with the assumption my plans are set for the night, then 2 hours later I get the following.]

Plate: 9:03pm - Sorry rain check

[This wasn't the first time Kaylie has done this to me, and the last time it happened I made it clear I wouldn't tolerate it again, clearly she must have thought I was bluffing. In this situation the old me would have begged her to reconsider, which would have been a disgustingly bad move.]

Me: 9:05pm - No, tonight or never again.

[At this point she called me and asked me 'what my problem was'. I calmly explained that I'd already set other plans aside to make time for her this evening and it was incredibly rude of her to cancel last minute on me. I told her verbatim "This isn't the first time you've pulled this kind of crap on me and I don't have to put up with it."

She explained that a friend of hers was coming over instead and that he was going through a tough time. She then tried to get me to tell her 'what was really wrong'. I again insisted that she had no respect for me or my time and I didn't want to be around people like that. I then hung up and started contacting a buddy to make plans to hang out. Her and I's conversation was about 2 minutes long and right after I hung up she sent the following text.]

Plate: 9:08 - Wow James. Why are you so upset?

[Ignore]

Plate: 9:10 - My friends only going to be over for hr or so. I'll text you once he leaves. I'm not trying to have conflict with you

[She's moving in the direction I want, so I reward her with a response.]

Me: 9:10pm - Tell him to get fucked. We had plans.

Plate: 9:13pm - His mom just died James. I'll try to get rid of him as soon as I can okay?

[That's a pretty big bomb to drop, but first off I don't really believe it, and at worst I'm thinking this dude's mom probably died weeks ago and he's just fishing for sympathy thinking he can cash in this tragedy for some pussy. No sympathy from me for him, and her shit test to see if I'll back off isn't going to work either.]

Me: 9:13pm - Are you dating him? No? Then he should go somewhere else.

Plate: 9:16pm - No. But he's one of my friends. Why are you being so mean

Me: 9:19pm - You have a choice to make. Only one man is coming to your house tonight.

Plate: 9:20pm - Girls can have guy friends James??

Me: 9:22pm - I don't care about your friends. I don't care who you fuck. Respect the plans we made.

[Of course I actually would drop her if she started fucking other guys, but I can't have her thinking that if I want her to feel comfortable admitting to future indiscretions.]

Plate: 9:25pm - I am. I didn't say what time we were gonna hang out?.

Plate: 9:25pm - Your sexy when your angry (; I'll text you when he's gone

[Damn that felt good to hear! But no time to rest on my laurels, I need to give her some urgency to kick this guy out. Now instead of enjoying her time with this other (probably beta) guy she's going to just be annoyed that he won't leave sooner while she's thinking of me in the back of her mind.]

Me: 9:27pm - I'm leaving here @ 10.

Plate: 9:28 - While he just got he so he will probably stay for hr or so. I will tell you when your allowed at my house

[At this point she's obviously thinking I'm going to leave my house at 10pm to drive the 20 minutes to her place. She wants me to park on the street and wait for her ok to come in after this other dude leaves. I've been too beta in the past with her if she thinks I would even consider doing that, so I had to set her straight.]

Me: 9:30pm - You don't understand. I'm leaving at 10. If I don't hear from you by then I'm driving in the opposite direction. I will NOT wait outside your house.

Plate: 9:38pm - Don't give me a time limit? I'm your friend not your gf James

[This is obviously a case of a plate not being happy with being a plate, and wants to make sure I know she's hanging out with other guys and trying to set boundaries on what I can tell her to do or not do based on my not properly dating her. My response made it clear I wouldn't be putting up with this type of bitching.]

Me: 9:41pm - Stfu. The next text I get from you had better be you telling me to come over.

[The best part here was that I was seriously ready to just drop this plate, right then. She put me through all this bs, it was starting to feel like she wasn't worth the effort. If she responded with anything else I was planning to just delete her number and forget her.]

Plate: 10:22pm - Come over

Me: 10:23pm - ~40 m

Plate: 10:23pm - Kk

So she knew I was only 20 minutes away, but at 10pm I'd left to go hang at a friends house. I didn't feel the need to explain any of this to her. For a minute after she finally texted me to come over I considered just dropping her anyways for not getting back to me sooner, but opted to just keep her waiting instead. I'd like to say I demonstrated outcome independence here. I wasn't going to let her ruin my evening. If she had never texted me back I would have just had a fun time hanging with my bro. When I got there and she asked why it took me so long I explained that I was at my buddy's house, and didn't want to just leave 10 minutes after getting there.

When I arrived we chatted for a bit and she initially put up this farce that she only wanted me to come over so she could talk to me about what was wrong, since I was so obviously upset. I told her nothing was wrong and went in for my first kiss, and she sticks her hand out to block me! The bitch! But I just laughed it off and gave her a patronizing smile, meanwhile I started thinking in the back of my mind that if she was going to take sex off the table for the evening I should just head back over to my buddy's.

After laughing her off I continued chatting and teasing her and kept up the physical touching. After about 10 minutes of catching up (as I hadn't actually seen her in over a month) she tells me she's going to have a cigarette. I grab her and pull her to me for a kiss then push her away and explain that I wanted a taste before she fouled it up with cigarette smoke. I could visibly see the tingles.

While she smokes on the back porch I close the door behind her (did you think I was going to come out there and hang out with you? Oops.) and make sure she sees me texting someone else when she comes back inside (not just patiently waiting inside for her to return).

Then I refuse to kiss her more because she 'stinks now'.

She then goes and brushes her teeth and then wants to show me her new bedroom...

We fuck 3 times that night. In the morning I have to get up early for work (she works nights). I wake up horny at 6:30am and start escalating.

Kaylie: groans "I'm too tired, go back to bed."

[Ignore, continue escalating.]

Boom, we fuck.

Wait 20 minutes, then repeat. Then shower, change and leave.

Later that day I get the following text:

Plate: 2:14pm - Last night was just what I needed, let's hang out again soon(:

My response to that is what I'm least confident of, I think I may have come off as too eager as she hasn't texted me since (not that I'm overly concerned).

Me: 2:25pm - Of course. :D Not if you have to work the next day though... James can't keep his hands off Kaylie so she's likely to be a tired girl!! ;)

So that's what I've got. To those still learning the take-away I would get from this is no doesn't always mean no.

Any TRP veterans are more than welcome to point out any errors I made, I love learning from my mistakes. The biggest thing that's bothering me really is that I told her at one point only one man was going to come over to hers that evening, but then I came over anyway after the other dude left. I wanted to put my foot down but didn't think it was a big enough thing to get picky about considering I had a sure thing coming my way by that point. Not to mention appearing to actually be threatened by this other guy who is obviously just a no-pussy-getting-orbiter would make me come off as quite beta myself. I'm thinking in the future I'll just not set boundaries I'm not ready to enforce.

tl;dr - Plate tries to rain check me. Frame control. We end up fucking 3 times that night and then twice more in the morning.
