False rape accusers use the media and the legal system as lethal weapons, and should be treated accordingly.

I just read the first couple paragraphs of the NYTimes piece on the Ellen Pao Verdict. I don't think I was entirely sold on media gender bias until right this minute.

Another day, another false rape accusation comes tumbling down. This time it's Lena Dunham and her publisher Random House

I wrote a book about masculinity and SMV in Southeast Asia. It's called Philosophy and Fucking in Vietnam and has, quite shockingly, become a hit. It is currently the number one new release in its category on Amazon.

Can't go against 17 years of happy marriage. Sorry, feminism.

[–]ModAerobus 19 points20 points21 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I don't think many feminists will ever get that many years of stable marriage.

[–]VaginalAssaultRifles 13 points14 points15 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Put together.

[–]ModAerobus 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Put together? Definitely. Spread apart? Still a lot of feminists won't experience that I feel.

Just go to askhamsters. A lot of the people who post there frequently (who also happen to be the mods) are in their late 20s/early 30s. Some are still playing the dating game while others are in LTRs. Those that are in LTRs "don't really want marriage." I think when some of them wake up realizing they want marriage (at the young age of only 35! /s) they're going to struggle finding it.

Considering how many dicks your average feminist has taken they'll be lucky if they pass 7 years (they dont call it the 7 year itch for nothing).

Decent interview, religious content aside. The comments are still atrocious but at least it is a bit of RP content on a cesspool like HuffPo.

Also, this would be good to crosspost to /r/redpillwomen

it's obvious she knew the landmines and traps they were going to try and set for her...worked around the language with relative aplomb.

it's good to see more and more celebs come out with their voices full on this issue...Gabrielle Reece, etc. Even if it's just a little push back to the common media narrative, I'll take it.

Can you believe they're trying to make the word "submissive" into something derogatory?

I don't speak for all men, of course, but I can tell you that I personally love when a woman is submissive to me and lets me take charge. I can't imagine I'm in the minority of all men, either. Men like submissive women the same way that women like dominant men. Though, maybe with the recent surge of emasculation of men, this might be different according to "studies" where men give their "opinion." But there's a primal, instinctual feeling that a man gets when a woman is submissive to him.

The comments, on the other hand, are putrid. I can't stand that much hamstering.

I really wish that, instead of going straight to the bible bullshit with her first answer, she had simply turned it around on the host.

Host: "Submissive is a dirty word!"

I wish she'd said, "what exactly are you worried about?"

Seriously, make the host say it: men are abusive. I'm worried that he'll abuse me. "Why would you stay with someone who abuses you?"

*crickets chirping*

So, if you're not going to stay with him if he becomes abusive, then you have nothing to worry about, so why exactly is it a dirty word?

[–]Gyaltso 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The word "Biblical" got a similar reaction out of you, I see.

It's just another shit test. Women will submit but only to a male they deemed worthy. Feminism has convinced their drones that all men are unworthy (even the male feminists agree and will bitch down for their holy goddess at every chance until the divorce) .

Sad to see such deeply internalized misogyny. This poor woman clearly needs to embrace feminism and equality to save herself from her choices that led to a happy, successful marriage.

hisss Happiness does not exist hisss Love is a lie hisss

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Don't you just love the way feminist thinking works ? it's made to be immune to critique/skepticism.

Man likes submissive women ? Misogynist.

Woman likes being submissive ? Internalized misogyny.

Basically saying, you can't possibly hold a position which is critical/opposed to feminism without hating women.

This way they never have to defend their ideology - since every criticism is actually a personal attack and obviously comes from a misogynistic POV.

The same circle logic is applied to the feminist concept of privilege. Whenever someone that's being berated for "having privilege" responds by calling bullshit - saying they're not privileged at all - said person is always wrong because - get this load - "having privilege implies not being aware of having privilege".

Well fuck me...

Have you ever heard anything more retarded ? and the education system supports this intellectually bankrupt nonsense.

Happy, successful divorce so she can use the money and house to find herself. Grrl power!

[–]--TakeThePill18 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Aaaaand she's smoking hot. I'm noticing a trend here.

[–]Glenbert 8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Perfect example of why you "do" rather than "say" with women today. I mean, Jesus, if you ask a woman to submit to you that, right there connotes weakness, which women hate.

Just lead.

[–]TheeRyanGrey 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

This is a large part of the reason I only date Latin women: nearly all of them are religious or grew up in religious households.

I myself am not religious but I've noticed women who are have a significantly higher percentage of being keepers.

[–]skimdit1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Sure, but it's more about culture than religion as my Thai gf thankfully doesn't believe in any supernatural sky fairy nonsense but still fully understands and appreciates "Who's The Boss". ;-)

[–]TheeRyanGrey 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

of course it's more about culture than religion

i just play the percentages

[–]phathack 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I love how the feminist attack her for how she choses to live her life.

She's a happily married woman and nothing pisses off feminist more than that.

[–]GizmoC 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I started falling in love with her as she spoke.. Anyway, this might upset some people here, but its acceptable when the woman takes authority(and responsibility) of certain aspects of a relationship.

[–]xiko 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If you let her. Yeah.

[–]SILENTSAM69 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I found it hard to keep listening to her when she said "biblical definition," but in the end she had a good way of seeing it. She works with her husband, not against him.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I dig the RP theory but I hate the religious aspect in this.

[–]vaker 9 points10 points11 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Some people believe in the Easter Bunny. Some people believe in the Patriarchy and Progress. I believe I'll have another Glenmorangie.

[–]Theophagist 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I can barely stomach it. These moral and conduct codes were established millennia before organized religion. Christianity merely takes credit so when it tells us what we already know, we think their deity is a source of wisdom.

With feminism trying to piggyback on the growing atheist community (calling itself atheism "plus") I think it's pretty important to keep rational theories accessible to the community. Presenting good information in a religious context is like serving an elegant desert on a filthy hubcap. If I'm really hungry I might at least taste the icing but I'm not sticking my fork in.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Spot on.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I like how the comments dismiss this based on that she's religious. "Those Christian woman are wacky." But...she didn't mention anything in that clip about how she does this because it's in the bible... Hamstering full speed, captain!

[–]LasherDeviance 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I think that the funny part to me is that the older sister turned out decent after the end of the show, but the chick who played the younger sister became a porn slut druggie chick.

It begs the question; Is the propensity to jump on the carousel a generational thing? I'm Gen X and there were some slutty girls coming up, but I think that the rate is higher now, that, or that its more visible due to social media...

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Probably more visible, but also widely accepted for women to slut it up these days.
