I've lived in Bahrain for the last two years. And like sandman said it's really taboo for Muslim women to sleep around much less with an American Sailor(in my case).

The amount of beta you show is all that changes in my experience (only very subtle cockyness if any, seriously). I'm Argentine and can tell you most Argentine women do not want random hookups (unless... more on that later). Slut-shaming is very very present over there (not that this is a bad thing) so most of them will screen you A LOT more than American girls

From what I gather, women here are not nearly as entitled, vapid and out of shape as american women (although it certainly seems they're heading that way). Never forget that you're in a country where in some regions it's still considered socially acceptable for a family to kill a daughter who strays from the path of virtue - and though I assume that you're in a place where people are more modern and less religious, being "easy" probably is still something to be ashamed of there. Relationships are more likely to be serious business even for young people than they're in Western Europe or the USA.
2nd caveat (follows from the "relationships are serious business"-stuff): Guys tend to have a lot more leeway while girls don't, in particular when it comes to non-Muslims. So even if a girl is willing to date, odds are it won't be with you.
