Here is a field report for you guys. I started a new job at a law office awhile back and there's a lot of hot women there. It's a large office of 200+ people. There was one girl in particular that caught my eye. I ended up making my move on Valentine's Day, leaving her a Valentine on her desk in the morning. We had only talked briefly a few times before that since she's one of the workaholic types and takes company policies of never conversing with co-workers super serious.

She responded well to the Valentine and we ended up having lunch together that week. We started talking a bit more during breaks and what not and I found out she was really into sports. A few weeks later I invited her to go to a lacrosse game with me since I had season tickets. She said she wanted to but couldn't as she had plans already.

Okay whatever. Could be true. I'll always give a girl another chance. So I ignored her for a little while as punishment, then started talking to her again a couple of weeks later. In the meantime I made a few inquiries about her in terms of what she was like and got several stern warnings from friends that she was well known for playing head games with guys and was kind of slutty (e.g. she went to a party with some guy from work that liked her, went back to his place with him, and then made out with his roommate instead). I never would have expected that from her since she seemed very shy and quiet. One of those studious types. It seemed almost unbelievably ridiculous so I wrote it off as exaggeration since the source was another female.

About a month passed and I decided to ask her out again because what the hell if she was as easy as I hear should be easy mode for me right? I knew she was an animal lover so I invited her out to the zoo - a nice fun date. She was beaming about it being a great idea and gave me her number then told me to text her that night. So I did, and didn't get a reply.

The next morning she told emailed me that she got busy and would text me tonight after work. It didn't happen.

So I let a couple of days pass without saying anything or hearing anything. She eventually texted me saying her and a group of coworkers were going to go to some zoo event NEXT weekend, I should come with them. I said I didn't really have a group hang out in mind when I asked her out.

At that point she is like "omg you were asking me out? I didn't even know that! I'm so sorry for being unresponsive. Now I feel bad but I'm not dating right now and don't date guys from the office anyway as it causes trouble."

These were lies of course so I made a few sarcastic comments such as "yes because a guy giving you a valentine and saying you're attractive can be quite confusing" and "I heard you were trying to get back with your ex anyway."

The last one set her off "who said that I was trying to get back with my ex?!"

So I replied "I don't want to get any of your friends in trouble so I'll just leave it there. But anyway, nice talking to you."

I'm sure that caused her to interrogate all her friends hahaha.

She tried coming back at me saying SHE heard rumors how I was going after lots of girls from the office and so she thought I was just trying to be flirty with her like the other girls.

Yeah nice try. That was about a week ago and I just ignore her now. If I pass her at work I look the other way.

Just another chick trying to play games. NEXT.
