In the past, I was a married "beta provider", as described very well by the manosphere. I did everything financially to provide for my wife, and we both mutually did everything to make ourselves unattractive to each other. Her by getting fat and naggy, and me by being what I now recognize as a weak submissive man.

I think I was already a very low beta who happened to stumble into marriage at an early age with one of the first girls I seriously dated. I can easily envision scenarios in which the young me ended up as an incel rather than married, that is how beta I was.

Since getting divorced, and discovering first PUA and then the manosphere blogs, my eyes have been opened. I am really just in the very early stages of changing, but already I have seen some improvement. I have approached women than I ever did in the entirely of high school and college. I have had more satisfying sex than I ever had with my former wife, even in the early stages when she was still attractive.

Now, the thing is, I don't see myself being happy spinning plates forever. I see my longterm desire as getting into one of these "red pill marriages" that Athol Kay writes about. I really want a woman that I can lead, "take in hand". The provider in me still wants to provide financially for a woman as well. The idea of being a leader of my own household seriously gives me a boner. I don't think this aspect of my personality is going to go away as I improve my social skills. If anything, so far it has become stronger as my bitterness is reduced by small sexual successes.

So in addition to general self-improvements as a man (which I believe I still have a ways to go), is there any particular strategy for eventually finding a "red pill marriage"? What should I be looking for in women? How do I increase my chances of finding the marriagable ones? (I assume picking up chicks on r/redpillwomen is a losing game)

Now, some I expect will say that "Marriage 2.0" just can't be like that, our civilization has decayed to the point where my dream is something out of the past that can't happen now, yet there are married people here and on the Internet who show that it is possible.
