There are a lot of men who go on a NoFap journey and feel depressed when they got a glimpse of a hot Instagram chick twerk video and relapsed.

"I had the longest streak I've ever had and I relapse on something that's not even porn?!"

The truth is, you're human and humans like orgasms. The first time you discovered that if you "play with it" long enough and it gives you a mind-blowing feeling that you've never felt before, you're like a kid with a new toy. Don't feel guilty of wanting to beat off or have sex. It's human nature. As a matter of fact I was watching a show called Manswers, back in the early 2000s and they mentioned that the earliest a child masturbates is in the womb!

So how do you kick this habit?

Don't think of quitting, think of reduction. Right now, you probably beat off multiple times a day or multiple times a week. The idea of going a week without beating off is like holding your breath. At some point, you're gonna need to "breathe".

This is what you do. Print out a calendar. The one with boxes so you can draw an X or a check mark or even a little note if you want. On another sheet of paper, write the date and a number to represent how many times in that day you beat off. Only write the days that you beat off and how many times. Don't forget to track it. So you're gonna mark the calendar of days you beat off and the sheet of paper will have a date and how many times within that day.

Let's say month one you beat off like 35 times. The next month, try to reduce the amount of times. Don't force yourself, just go with the flow. After a while, you're gonna do things to help you reduce the amount of times you do it. If you get the urge, don't use willpower to not do it, just do it and track it. After a while, you might say,

"I'm only gonna beat off every other day. As many times I want within that day, but it's gonna be every other day"

Then you might say,

"Only on weekends. As many times within that weekend, but only on weekends"

Once again, don't force yourself to stick to this regimen, the only thing you should focus on is tracking.

After a while, you'll see the amount of days you beat off decrease. You'll be more in-tuned with your body. You may put porn on and realize that you don't want to beat off. You'll turn the device off and do something else or go to sleep. You might be in the process of beating off, but realize that you don't really feel like it. You were only doing it out of boredom or habit. You might not have an orgasm and just do something else. Then you'll have days where you were looking forward to a good beat off session. Enjoy the moment!

No more guilt actually allows you to let your body on it's on reduce the amount of times you beat off. After a while, it will get to the point where you can do weeks and even months without beating off without feeling like you're using willpower to do so.

What are your thoughts?
