I'm a newbie here.

Years past, I was alpha. Got more ass than a toilet seat, too. Didn't read anything at the time, just got fed up with 'the way things were', and said/did what I wanted, when I wanted. Angry -> Assertive -> Confident -> Available vaginas.

Blew out my back, had surgery, rehabbed, met a girl. Eventually she moved in, had second back surgery. Stayed in, went out, fucked a lot. Eventually told me she was bi-curious. My back didn't work anymore, went back to school, chose electrical engineering. Eventually snagged a girl out of physics (!) and brought her home to share. Yes, that was hot. Like, really. Hot.

Anyway, fast forward to my university (I was a transfer student, did lower-division stuff at the junior college). It's a great school. If you know good engineering schools, you know my school (no, not cal-tech or MIT). Trouble is, the better the school is, the better the students are, and you have to grade on the curve. Where I was always the #1 score at the JC, now I'm right in the middle of the curve, which is depressing. More depressing is that, after the curve, your C grade was based on a 33% score. Less confidence -> going a little bit beta. Oh, and spending 10-12 hours every day on campus isn't going to give the live-in girl much attention.

Eventually, she left me. For her boss (hypergamy!). He edits online videos. Not exactly comparable to a fucking engineer, no? Well, perhaps it's worth mentioning that at some point, she told me, "If you're working this hard, you're doing something wrong." (Yea, I was a little fucking pissed, seeing as how she didn't even finish algebra) Keep in mind that her degree is in film. She once told me that her typical day at school was watching a movie, talking about it for an hour or so, and going home. Some days she didn't bother going. My typical day at school? Learning ALL OF the math, ALL OF the physics, and learning to bend the laws of nature to suit my whims.

But this is all OK. I'm 36, and have a year left to try to bang girls half my age while I still have a legitimate reason to be on a college campus. She's 33, her sisters are popping out kids (and she's still child-free), and she's about to have her Wile E. Coyote moment.

Thanks for the community guys men.
