I'm 19 and have been beta my whole life. I was that skinny and smart kid in high school that wasn't really picked on but wasn't really popular either. Girl's label me "cute" but not attractive or sexy.

In college I have started lifting daily, and put on 25 lbs of mostly muscle in about a year. I'm starting to get physically bigger, but I am certainly still lacking mental game. I get nervous around girls and people until I really get to know them. I have had a few "hookups" but they were all in drunken stupor at clubs or parties. I'm still a virgin.

I guess my main question is whether or not its even possible to change my beta tendencies. Most of the alpha guys I know have likely been that way throughout their whole lives. Perhaps the way I was raised has led me down this path, as well as genetics (ex: I'm always anxious). Can these tendencies be overcome? Do I have to continually step out of my comfort zone?
