Do you think a nihilistic world view can be the center of a successful 'mannerbund'? Or does a group that wishes to gain power in the world need to have some transcendent ideals motivating it? It seems that really successful gangs like the Teutonic Knights who conquered Prussia and ruled it for centuries were so powerful because of their religious beliefs. If such beliefs are useful, even if one personally has a nihilistic outlook, should one look for a gang that has some kind of transcendent principle?

Jack- I am an officer in the military. I've shared your book with several friends of mine who are fellow officers, some downrange in Afghanistan, and they've been able to apply the ethos you write about to platoon dynamics in combat. It's good shit and we love it. Keep it coming. Thanks.

Hi Jack - I am a great fan of The Way Of Men. Thanks for doing the AMA.

One of the key action messages (probably the key message) I got from your book was that men should connect on a one-to-one and small group (gang) level with like minded men.

In my experience doing this over the past few years, I can agree that it's a great way for a man to build his identity as a man, as opposed to merely a generic, sex and gender-less human. (For me, this happened to be a mens' social club, but it could just as well be in a mens' gym or a military unit or a sports team...)

What do you think the goals of the online 'manosphere' and other broader-scale pro-masculine activism should be? Do you think men are reaching those goals?

The reason for my question is that your book seems to be focused on the micro-scale level of individuals and small groups, and I am curious about your views on the value and feasibility of larger scale organized movements.

Do you think the Men's Rights movement should coalesce with the New Right / Alternative Right due to much overlap in what the movements are fighting against?

Why do you think homosexuals have been so quick to embrace the campy culture this society has pushed on them? The whole Betty Davis, Cher, "I wanna get married!", fashion (and even cross-dressing) thing.

Do you think it's all just cultural or does it have a biological inclination? I personally find it strange as I can't imagine anything LESS feminine than two dudes going at it....my theory is that it is an attempt to neutralize a whole subsection of men with "nothing to lose" (wife and kids etc). But then again, why has it been SO embraced?

Hey Jack, I bought The Way of Men days after my birthday last year, and it has become one of the most influential readings of my late adulthood (I'm 31 now). Thanks for that.

Over the span of this time, I have cautiously and purposefully re-aligned myself back to what I think my innate beliefs were before the shame of feminism/egalitarianism/liberalism took hold in my youth.

Over the last few months, I have lost friends <redacted> because of taking the "red pill." I don't prophecise it, but don't hide/apologize for it either.

What can you say with regards to the thought-train that feminism is nothing but noble, but masculinity should otherwise be mocked? Is a one-man and well-intentioned "gang" better off than an entire misguided tribe? Or am I just being a village idiot?

I have a pragmatic question for you, it is in regards to establishing a gang. My challenge is that I live in a very liberal minded city and I am finding it hard to even remotely find red pill individuals. My current male friends, who are cool dudes in there own right, are just not able to digest this culture. I was wondering if you have any advice in order for me to begin to form a group, and where would I look? As well, maybe you can help establish these local gangs/revolutions by having some sort of website or forum where people from various cities can arrange to find each other.
