Tl,dr: Every woman will get bitchy or nagging from time to time, passing negative judgments and criticism on whatever she doesn't like about you in a non-constructive way. What is the best strategy for dealing with that?

Body I have an awesome roommate who I look up to as my role model in many ways. His dedication to lifting has left him with a body of a Hercules. He belongs among the top programmers in the world, resulting in him working only 4 hours every day and still getting more money than anyone else in the house. He's funny, charismatic and generally alpha as fuck. However, he lives with a LTR (HB 8,5) who is the most nagging/bitchy person I know. She publicly scolds him over the littlest of details, telling him how he's terrible at this, how she hates him over that, how his humor sucks, yadda yadda yadda...

How does he respond? Well, any time she starts acting like this (which is often), he acts unaffected. He either jokes his way around her bitching, denies her claims ("nah, I'm still awesome") or doesn't respond at all. Not too bad.

However, I always thought that if I'm ever going to commit to a LTR again, I want it to be with a girl who respects me and never acts bitchy towards me in any way. Is this achievable?

Is my roommate acting in the most alpha way possible, or could he have done something better? Is it possible to train your LTR into never turning into a nagging bitch, or do we just have to accept that all women do this and if you ever let that annoy you then you're just being a little bitch? Is it always about shit-testing? What is the best way to respond to her nagging, and does the strategy differ for plates, gfs and LTRs?
