I stumbled upon this subreddit by reading a small comment on /r/getmotivated, and since then that god damn awful pill has gone down my throat, and it has done infinite damage to the beta inside. I was a fat gamer, who was looking for reasons to stop being a fat gamer. This gave me all the reasons i needed, but it inadvertently told me why so much of my life has been shit up to this point. No matter how nice i was to people, or what i did, i was always the butt of the joke, the guy who got left out, and the loser no one expected to get laid. Even my mom made passes at me like that. Since my discovery of trp, i have been so much better. I have lurked for about 4 months now, and i have been reading, and applying trp philosophy to ny life and habits, i lift, and i play almost no more video games. So far, i got rid of all of my toxic friends, barely see my family, lost 60lbs and am actually showing some muscles for the first time in my life. still working on the socializing part, but i have been going to great strides to talk to strangers more at the grocery and such. I guess you could say i am still in the anger phase, but i am getting better. This so far has been the best 3 months of my life. I cant wait for the future i unlock for myself that i would npt have had, if not for trp

What brought me here was the search for answers after a failed relationship. I have never been a compliant beta, always knew there was something wrong in the way girls treated me and in the way I was expected to treat them. But because everyone kept telling me that I had to treat them as equals, be a nice guy and just wait for the right one, that's what I told myself, that's what I did.

Now I know better. I could finally accept what I knew all along, I could find peace. The pill may not be sweet, but hot damn it's savory to me.

Shortly after high school ended I was reasonably happy but realised that there was something missing. Something about my life that I wasn't quite content with. I found r/socialskills and thought that was the key I needed to become a better rounded and more well-liked individual. From there I saw mention of a redpill subreddit with lots of down votes. 'What's so bad about this sub?' I thought. Intrigued, I checked it out and the more I read, the more I realised this was that thing I never knew I needed. I've been reading for about 11 months now and never thought I could be this glad about finding a collection of strangers on the Internet. Most aspects of my life have been on an upward trend and I'm excited for the future, all because I've been given the mental framework to approach life's challenges as a man in search of happiness.

I got divorce raped in my young 20s. Lost it all, even friends. I had to start 100% over. What i realized was I also had freedom. Freedom to try and be anyone I wanted.

Do things like apply for jobs you have no qualifications for. Join an industry that you thought you couldn't get into. Go to clubs that were not your style. You'll be amazed at how u can reinvent yourself as a person.

Did you know you replace every cell in your body every 7 years? Just already what you are now is not physically the same person 7 years ago. This also means the person 7 years from now will not be the same person you are today.

Just by taking the pill has changed you. You now know the nature of women, you know masculinity, now armed with knowledge and tools you can find your own destiny.

Guys are so indoctrinated to be nice and supplicating by school (sit down, shut up, and be a good little girl), sitcoms (think Marshall in HIMYM), movies (any romcom), and the media and society as a whole (society isn't fair or equal until we exclude and disenfranchise all the white males) that when their girlfriends inevitably dump them it comes "out of the blue" and completely blindsides them.

They come here to find the answers to the inevitable confusion in their minds.

In my 35+ years I've been alpha and beta. Or more like sigma and beta. When I was young and single I would slay. Then I would find the one and beta hard until she left me. Then I would harden up and slay again.

I've had hard years and good years. I had some hard years as a young man, but I had a young man's enthusiasm. These rock bottom hard years were born after a 8 year relationship had robbed me of all manhood.

Rock Bottom was when I lost my girl, my daughter, got stuck paying child support. I lost my job and nearly went to jail for not being able to pay child support. I was dead broke. I went from 60k, a nice house in a decent neighborhood a girlfriend and baby to struggling to pay bills with a part time crappy job living in a crappy apartment in a bad neighborhood with no women and never seeing my kid. All of my so called friend disappeared. Women could smell the loser on me and averted their eyes.

One day my car broke down, I walked to work, walked home and when I got home the power was off and there was a note from the sheriffs office for failure to pay child support. That was rock bottom. I decided right then that I wasn't going to live like this any more. I started looking for a job, I begged and borrowed to get my car running and to pay my bills/child support. I worked odd jobs. I did freelance work online. I finally found an entry level job in my field earning what I was earning 10 years ago, but at least it was work. About this time I found the redpill via some PUA sites I would browse occasionally. I would read the material but not apply it. Mainly because mylife was in such a state that women just haven't been on my radar.

I produced some outstanding pieces at that job and moved on to a bigger company and I've gotten two raises since I've been here. I'm still not back to my previous income but I can pay all of my bills now. Also I'm down from 25lbs with 40 more to go.

I learned that the only people who gave a shit about me were my parents and my brother. I tried my best to shield my daughter from my last 3 years of misery.

I learned the lesson of how disposable I really am as a man. All I was valued for was what I could produce for others. Nobody really gives a shit about you. So you better give a shit about yourself. You better care about yourself more than any other person on earth and your survival is up to you. Your job and the company doesn't really give a shit about you either. You have to do what's best for you and the people who do care about you. We all know it but sometimes you have to really experience it to get it.

As for women. I learned about prostitutes. Something about those three years of struggling and dealing with my ex turned me off women. I was bitter about life and women for a long time. Reading the Red Pill helped me put things into perspective but I must admit that I like whores. I pay, we play, they go away. I don't want much more than that and it's super easy to pay a few bucks for it. They don't interrupt my journey I'm on right now for full self reliance. They are a treat for achieving an goal, not a daily/weekly thing.

Since I've started my redpill journey I've abstained from them and I've realized that my skills with women are at rock bottom right now You get used to just paying for what you want and getting it. After many years with zero female interest, trying to impress or charm a woman is just not in my nature any more. I just don't care about them in any way besides fucking because my body craves it. The first signs of drama or difficulty I just move on. I'm working on becoming more patient and charming.

I don't remember how I found TRP, I think I found it through subreddits related to philosophy and equality(MensRights).

it didn't take anything for me to take the red pill, I grew up pretty isolated, so I never got indoctrinated into society, even at age 6 I was all like "why do we shake hands? It only spreads disease, it is idiotic". since I was not allowed to have playdates as a child, socialbehaviours never became a part of my nature, whenever I meet something it was always with a little skepticism.

luckily for me I live in Denmark, where the original feminism focused more on giving women equal resposabilities and not just equal rights, so through my life whenever a girl would try to intimidate me, I threw logic back in her face, because logic has been my only way to deal with people. Young women in Denmark are also pretty self aware, in my philosophy and literature class I have even heard some young women from my class say things that would make an american feminist rip her hair out, not too a TRP level though.

after I found TRP I did start seeing tendencies in female behaviour, and noticed how women were likely to try to take advantage of my kindness. where they increase their reqeusts little by little, but Im little lazy and gay, so I the logically reasoning I used saw the annoying request as something I definetely wouldnt do because hey no benefits found in the mental cost-benefite analysis.

A truth that I made clear to myself a long time ago was "it doesn't matter if I want something to be true or real, if it is true and I hate with all of my heart, I shall still accept it as true, because believing in a lie is a surefire way of hurting yourself". I had also accepted that all of my actions are my own, therefore I will not regret anything, because I made the best choice I could, and focussing on the past is a waste of time, I can't change the past, and being a bitch about it won't change it either.

When I was very young(13) I also thought of suicide, I was pretty lonely. I thought that "If I were dead people would have much they missed me" and "If noone likes me, then I might as well be dead". but then it dawned upon me "if people don't like me, then they can fuck off, I live my life, MY LIFE!! IT IS MINE, NOT THEIRS! IF THEY HATE ME, THEN THEY CAN GO KILL THEMSELVES, IM NOT GONNA. Because the only opinion on whether or not my life is worth living that matters, is my own. my life is mine, it only belongs to me".

In school I have even been descriped by a teacher as a resolver of conflicts, which to me didn't make much sense because I don't see these conflicts, I just stay honest and look for the truth.

in conclusion, a lot of the red pill values are a part of my very nature, which made it as easy to accept as gravity (when I read a little about the logical reasoning behind it)

EDIT: btw if the red pill had a flavour it would be peanutbutter flavoured, a little dry, kinda sticks in your mouth, gives you lots of protein, first it tastes a little weird, and then you love it.

I used to frequent SoSuave when I was around 15. I followed it for maybe a year or so and it was starting to make sense to me until I came across a post that basically said "all women were worthless beyond a mere sex toy." That was just too much for me to handle at the time and I dropped it then and there.

The next ten years of my life I developed a very liberal/BP mentality to life but still never forgot about the manosphere. Every time I came across something remotely conservative I thought it was bullshit, likely due to my prior experience. Still, all the while I had no confidence, hardly ever got laid and made bad decision after bad decision.

Hit rock bottom right around the time I met a cute girl who lived down the street from me. I had a chance to make it happen but then she friendzoned me and I accepted it. I spent the next 6 months or so hanging with her and her boyfriend. Every time l left their company I felt absolutely miserable.

I started searching because I knew something was wrong. I ended up on NoFap and thought it would help. One of the posters linked to TRP and I already knew what it was about. I thought, "maybe I'll give this shit another try."

The abridged version of my "rock bottom" story is as follows: Had my license suspended, lost my job, ltr of 3 years split, had to move back in with my parents all within a span of 2 weeks. Took me a year to get my license back and found TRP in that time. Everything was my fault and TRP helped me internalize that. Stop blaming others and be better.

I posted in my own thread my tipping point:

After that I started to figure it out, this was before this sub was a thing. But there were other websites and videos online covering these topics.

It still took me another year to finally figure out how to get laid, and even then I didn't really figure out how to do it regularly until I was 21/22 ish.

I'm just happy I managed to learn it in my twenties than end up as a 30 something single guy chasing after used up post-wall women or divorce raped at 40.

I was aware of game, and the importance of approaching. Did ok getting dates but had a terrible time closing after ending an ltr.

I would always get friendzoned. While reading seddit I stumbled upon redpill. Initially it seemed extreme so I went with the usual seddit approach. A few more missed opportunities and I came back for the good stuff.

I'm one year in and have closed more women than I thought I would in a lifetime. Long way to go.

The most red pill recovery program out there is called "rational recovery" - rational.org

It's the opposite of the usual 12-step programs, which are very blue pill. The 12 step programs want you to believe you are powerless and have a disease, and teach you to blame your short comings on circumstances and other people that trigger you. Fuck that rubbish.

RR is the real deal. Own your failures and move on. They use something similar to NLP to help you fix your mindset.

Stay strong brother i recently stopped doing drugs, because i actually hit rock bottom high on 7 tabs of acid, and coke in jail. luckily they only got me for a class b misdemeanor possession of marijuana though. I remember sitting in the cell so fucking angry at myself just thinking why did i do this, was it worth all the good times to ruin my life ? I can not change the fact that i now have a record, but due to the fact that i am 17 if i stay out of trouble i can get it expunged at 18. I want to warn you do not believe your invulnerable until the laws change you can be arrested, or simply OD and Never use again.

My ex was an addict. I was so "in love" with "the one for me" that I willingly neglected some signs so obvious I can only laugh now. Check THIS shit out:

One of the early dates after she took a bong rip and I took one, she took a second immediately. I jokingly told her she smoked like an addict. She got pissed.
She showed me a text from "some guy" who said he wanted to gangbang her and cum all over her" while acting confused about "why he would send a text like that."
She didn't tell me about her STD's.
On a work trip I get a call from her out of nowhere freaking out about her friend who's addicted to meth and is in a hotel. Turned out this all happened 5 years ago and she hasn't seen her friend since.
She pushed for me to buy her a promise ring, let me cum in her and pushed for 3somes with no limits
She told me she was jealous when I slapped my female friends butt, but would sit around naked in front of all my friends because "that's just how she was."
She never contributed any money to finances, but always was in debt with her dealers.

I could go on for ages but you get the jist, I'm sure. In the end I can only say I willingly kept this going, so regardless of her actions, I was the one who didn't end it.

That said, since the break up, I've noticed how many of my friends and family are really weak people who don't look at life in a realistic way and are holding me back. I've also realized all the potential people saw in me and exploited.

But I've ended most of it and am dealing with the last of it now as I put my future into gear. It's a great feeling, despite what it took to get here.
