Saturday night, ex who cheated on me texts me that she's coming to town unexpectedly.

Last time we hung out was 3 months ago and I did the most beta shit imaginable trying to win her back. Shortly thereafter, discovered TRP and initiated No Contact.

After some obvious fishing for a ride from the airport, I tell her to find her own way to my place. We go to a bar, I get her drunk, I pull her into my place and we start going at it.

About halfway into it, she starts crying uncontrollably, tells me how sorry she is about what she did to me, how great I am, and how she is such an evil bitch.

The next morning, I tell her the only reason I'm even talking to her is because I'm way beyond the point of taking her back. More sex, more tears. Walk her to her rental car.

I will type up my Week 2 Field Report later, just want to give you some feedback...

Stop giving so much of a fuck. No one said this was easy, hell, half my FRs are about getting rejected, and I have a lot more where that came from!

You were way to reactive on Friday, which made you blow it. It sounded like a shit test, I would have agreed to chat, feed her hamster and escalated, you would have probably gotten the f-close, she had her ASD up, and you just needed to deal with that.

I really recommend not giving up. You are still too invested in the outcome, with more practice, more rejections and learning to release your ego, you can over come it.

Faith, from my last field report, texted me on Friday evening. I already had plans and waited a few hours before texting her back. I then said to her that she should come over Saturday, because the men are cooking. She said she'd be there.

My roommate and I got some ingredients for a dish, and a really attractive girl my roommate has been interested in came over. Faith was late, and when she arrived I told her that was unacceptable and that she'd better make it up to me. She said she'd do anything as she sexually grabbed my dick when she walked in.

We made some pre-dinner cocktails, cooked up some delicious food, had some wine, made some more post-dinner cocktails, and all watched a movie. Faith and I left to go to a bar to give my roommate and his girl some time alone. We came back a bit later, at which my roommate was already in his room with his girl.

We ended the night spectacularly, multiple times, and again in the morning. She said she broke her rule by texting me first, but then I told her to fuck the rules, it seemed to work out for her, and she said that yes it really did. She said she really owes me a lot now after cooking dinner, so she's taking me out this week for dinner.

Edit: I like to bring things back to 48 LoP and put it into context when I can. Law 13: When Asking for Help, Appeal to People’s Self-Interest, Never to their Mercy or Gratitude. If you need to turn to an ally for help, do not bother to remind him of your past assistance and good deeds. He will find a way to ignore you. Instead, uncover something in your request, or in your alliance with him, that will benefit him, and emphasize it out of all proportion. He will respond enthusiastically when he sees something to be gained for himself. Interpretation: I made sure to capitalize on the fact that very recently I did something for her and we have good momentum going and that she will benefit from time with me, and cash in now by making her take me out. If I waited, and tried to remind her two weeks later about that one time I cooked for her and that she should take me out, it may well have not worked, or she would think I am just trying to get a free dinner. Use the momentum of doing something for her, appeal to how she will enjoy spending time with me after a great night, and immediately plan to cash it in within the week.

Overall, a solid weekend and a good start to 2014.

Tonight I have plans for some happy-hour cocktails with a new girl I've never hung with before from my hometown who "wants to hear more about my career" over drinks. I expect it will go well.

I was in a drought for 6 months, more like a poor sex drive due to poor sleep habits and a demonic focus elsewhere. New Years is a tradition for me. The last 4 years have involved some of the most ridiculous sexual escapades, but they were all flukes. I didn't want my streak to end.

I had a date set up a HB7 last Thursday (She left for Canada on Saturday for work). I was going to train her in the gym, hot tub a bit, and see what happened. She said she wouldn't be able to make it, I waited 90 minutes and sent the classic “gay.” text message. She's sworn to make it up to me when she returns (I'll do a field report when that happens).

Put off by being blown off, I moved to my next plate. The next day I met a girl who had a crush on me a few years back for a quick bite. We go to a Free Birds and grab some chicken salads, sitting close, Kino escalating, bantering. She's saying things like “I always feel like I need to try so hard around you...” and I respond with cocky nonsense along the lines of “well, you do it because I'm the best kind of company...” She nods in agreement and we finish our food.

I needed to walk my dog after dinner, I invite her to come along because my dog is awesome. Little bastard has 1 eye, no remorse, and the sex drive of a high school football team (even though he's been fixed). She agrees and we get in my car, she notices the bottle of jameson and ginger ale sitting in the back seat, I laugh at say it's for the dog.

Walk the dog, continuing to banter, dropping a bit of TRP beliefs, and I suggest we head to the hot tub in my complex. She agrees, I make 2 whiskey gingers and put them in water bottles, we change and head out. A couple people are in there and I don't like people that fuck in the public hot tubs, so I keep it to hands under the water and a bit of kissing. Interesting foreigners come in to the hot tub, I spend 45 minutes ignoring this chick because I'm talking about computer programming and monetizing cam-girl websites. I pull her out of the tub and say it's time to leave.

Here's where I fuck up.

She didn't have sandles and I offered her a piggy back ride across the complex without setting up reciprocity before we left. Gave away some value.

We get back and get to work. I take her top off and I tell her it's sexier when the girl takes the shirt off the guy, she agrees and does so for me.

I have never in my life experienced LMR before but I need to learn to deal with it. She says “I'm not going to fuck you tonight.” I respond “I've heard that before but it always seems to be untrue.” and press on. She has her hand down my shorts and mine down hers. She pulls my shorts down a quarter of the way, and then pulls them back up, says she can't do it... asks me to take her home... SHE GRABS HER SHIT AND SITS ON THE PORCH TO WAIT FOR ME.

At least this point I'm confused as can be, completely demoralized and baffled. She comes in and says “I'm nearly 100% certain I'm going to get back together with the love of my life and I can't in good conscience tell him I fucked somebody else while we were separated.”

At this point, no idea how to respond. Feedback appreciated.

I take her home, she say's she feels guilty. I tell her not to worry because I always have my tomorrow. Now I'm distancing so she can't gain the emotional closure from me, her texts are coming at increasing frequencies, but I'm unsure how to proceed.

Ha. I have a field report, this time!

Went to a student city to see some friends. We had a delicious dinner, went for drinks afterwards, and of course I missed the last overland bus home. Woops. What does one do in that case? Have more drinks, talk with people, notice that one of the friends I've been having dinner with is not only game-aware but terribly good at it.

So here starts the fun part. We're in some pub and one of our mutual friend's acquaintances is standing next to us while we're talking about Game. He says that he has read it like one month ago and we make fun of him for having read it, but not practicing it. Tell him to approach a girl whose body language points to the guy she's sitting with, only to see him crash, burn and watch his ego falter.

We talk more about shit, dance with some random broads and as the bar closes head to some cheapass dive bar. By that point it's half about getting wasted half about approaching, and both works well. As we're standing right at the bar with some space in between, some broad tries to sneak in between us and manages to get an order through for a water. I make fun of her 'cause who drinks water at a dive bar, and lo and behold I find out she's trying to coax a rum&coke out of one of us.

Yeah, nobody ever pays for women so we're jabbing some more about bullshit. I go to the toilet and as I return, she's standing like 2m close to me. I kid her some more, she asks if I'd buy her a drink, I make her tell me why the hell I'd do that, and... convincingly enough she eats my face. Unless I'm still not convinced and she doesn't get any drink. My bad.

So it's back to drinking even more. I approach some blond girl, if I remember correctly I even run some silly cold-reading on her.. her brunette friend returns, we chat/flirt a bit, head out for a smoke. My wing comes out and gives the most impressive demonstration of Ellipsis game I've ever seen. One-worded answers, evading the questions and mocking the girl at the same time. If I ever needed aloof asshole ellipsis game spelled out for me, that's where I saw it. Oh well. More drinks!

Standing at the dancefloor looking at and talking about tits and asses some brunette broad with a soviet style fur hat sneaks in between us and ... wait for it ... opens us for her little gay brother. We laugh it off and game her instead, but she's so focused on finding something for him that there's no point in continuing.

6AM approaches, it's last round on the bar. I talk to some blonde cutie, launch strong kino, we head back to her group. Turns out not only does she and the brunette sitting at the table together, they sleep in one bed (gasp) ... and are married. Some jabbing about this and that, the bar closes, we head to yet another place.

Brunette one and me flirt while blonde I opened before is busy with one of the friends I had dinner with (hahah, small world). So I flirt some more. Eventually the question comes on "going to places", I think she says something to the effect "yeah, yeah, i know the likes of you, we're not going to your place". I reply "Look pal, If you're not going to pick me up the next thing I'm gonna do is head to the bus station and grab a ride home". Lo and behold she asks "Is that a challenge?" I smirk.

We head out of the place as it is closing. Blondie and friend are hugging each other and I notice that brunette one is freezing. Gentleman that I am, open my coat and make her cuddle me. After some triangulation the blonde shouts to her wife "You know, if you're going to kiss him I'm gonna bite you later." which I take as sign of approval, go in for a nice make out... It ends up with me smacking her into some house wall. We make out, I finger her a bit, she rubs me a lot, meanwhile my friend left and I can't even coax a threesome out of them because their parents are currently staying at their place.

Life's a cockblock and logistics is an asshole.

(I still have slight troubles adapting to this new normal. Was laughing like a maniac for a few minutes. Woops.)

This weekend has taught me a bit about myself, very little of it good. Its pretty much made the decision for me that im going to stop running game. Dont get me wrong, im not abandoning my RP principles, but im abandoning the acquisition of new plates and for the time being at least returning to monogamy. Reasons to be found below for anyone interested.

Friday: The day my game died

Dead night in my venue, but i didnt care at the time because i was already on a promise from a plate i'd been attempting to domesticate for a few weeks. She'd blown hot and cold in the beginning but eventually after a pretty heavy makeout session last week had agreed to meet me after my set for a bit of the old in out in out. This girl it should be noted is a pure FWB prospect, she wasnt a bad looking girl but too old, too many flings in her past, too much of a slut historically. And she was open about it. During the night i spot 2 friends in and dancing, 1 is a solid 8.5 blonde, the other arguably less attractive girl is probably a 7.5 but is strongly "My type" a curvy readhead, and i mean curvy, not fat.

The blonde starts giving me strong IOI, looking my way, dancing dirty for me. But since i was on a promise i didnt really have much interest in entertaining a girl who was frankly not my type. But her friend, who showed very little interest was a far more interesting target. I decided that since i was prepared to jettison the interest of the blonde for half a shot at the redhead i would run a high risk-high reward strategy. I call the blonde over, she kisses me immediately, i dont stop her but its just a peck.

Me: "You can stop looking at me like that madam" Her: "Like what? Smiles" Me: "You know what like, like its a buffet and im a slice of chocolate cake." Her: "Aww why" Me: "Because i dont fancy you, i like your friend"

She takes this rather well, and starts getting into that "Setting up" mode that friends do, tells me the friend is single, tells me i have to "Be good" i tell her i'm always good. I manage to number close the redhead but that was it. She then fails to respond to any form of communication, but i wouldn't know this until later.

The end of the night comes, and i rock up to the apartment of the plate. First step through the door "I dont think i can do this, can we just talk" This is a girl who i know has at least one other fuck buddy. "Look i cant keep going on being used by men, can we just talk and get to know each other first" I laugh, and then tell her some home truths that i probably ought not to have. "Look, we both know what you invited me over here for. We both know that you're fucking other guys on the side as well as me, and i dont care, dont try and turn this into something its not" Her: "Yeah, i know but i cant keep jumping into bed with guys" Me: "No, you're getting a bit old for that yeah? Looking for someone you can tie down and make them put attention coins into you till you give them what you gave up to better men on night one?" Well fuck you sweetheart" And i left.

This is a woman of 33, who has plates on the side. And she's trying to make me her beta provider. It was at that point that i realised very acutely that i had fallen for my own bullshit. There are 2 types of guys that get sex. Theres the first kind, who women actually want to fuck. Girls take this guy home on the first night and he gets what he wants. Then there is the kind of guy who will get sex eventually, but only after he has expended the correct amount of energy, time and money into her. I convinced myself i was the first kind of guy. But im not, im the second. And for that reason im done with game. I'm never going to be good enough.

Saturday: The Encore

Saturday presented a problem very early on. Both the Friday girl, and another timewasting girl who i had told to go fuck herself earlier in the week ended up in my venue at the same time, on the same dancefloor. And from their behaviour it was pretty clear what was about to happen. They were both attempting to cop off with someone in front of me to make me feel like a total peon because a better man was getting what i didnt.

I was pondering how i might defend against such a strategy given that they were both very attractive women, one a solid 9, and that they should in theory be able to best me very easily here.

Enter stage right, a 6' tall redheaded beauty whos name i never learned. Her and her friend come over, the friend greets me with a kiss and a cuddle which irritated friday girl to begin with, followed by the redhead. They leave but the friend returns "My friend wants to know if she can have a new years kiss" "Its not new years any more, but she can have a regular one"

Over she comes

"This is so embarassing" "What is?" "Look, ive been trying to get your attention for weeks, i even took a sneaky photo of you last week!" "Pervert haha, anyway what you mean trying to get my attention?" "You havent seen me staring at you?!" "Well yeah but i thought you hated me for reasons unknown" "No, i think you're hot, ive been into you for months!" "Oh... well thats nice haha"

Sticks her tongue down my throat in full view of both girls. Friday girl storms out, the other doesnt really react at this point. Next thing i know she's in my booth, round the corner out of sight with her leg around my hip and my fingers inside of her.

Somehow, and i have absolutely no idea why she did this, at the end of the night, after having agreed to go home with me; her and friend distracted me and jumped in a taxi leaving me behind. I was more confused than anything else, why come on so strong, let me do what i wanted to her (at one stage she was angling for a BJ but i wouldnt let her at work) and then run away without even saying why at the end.

Either way, her timing was nice, allowing me to piss off the 2 who had messed me around nicely (The one who didnt storm off text me a load of abuse about her the minute we left the venue, admitted the next day she was jealous as fuck but STILL wouldnt give me a damn thing ¬_¬) but it was a blip, im not cut out for this shit and im pretty sure i never will be.

Hey brother, you had a bad couple of days. It happens. But what you're doing here is being reactive to these women, which is the wrong headspace. When you're reactive to women, of course you're going to be putting more effort than you want into getting laid. That's what all the Beta-strategists do, they just do it with conventional 'wisdom' and so it doesn't turn the results. You can use PUA strategy in a reactive way and get better results, which is what it sounds like you've been doing.

Ideally, you want to be Alpha-strategizing by living your life actively and mindfully, and then acting on the opportunities with women this will place before you. Don't let a few bad bitches change you. Go for monogamy if it's what you want because it fits your frame and your lifestyle - that's how it is for me, and I'm happy with monogamy right now. But don't do it just because you think you're stuck with it.

You need to work on your game mate. You let your plate get the best of you & failed her shit test. You then let the other prospects know that you're into one of them which killed the attraction to be able to bang her redhead friend. You should've used the blonde friend to attract the other one.

Thoughtcrime85- At least you saw how you were being played and reacted accordingly. If you are going for LTR\monogamy you need game ever more. Trust me on this- it's one thing to get played by some woman you barely know. It's another when it happens in a relationship that you are invested in.

To all- want to be in a LTR? You need game. Don't think for a minute that by taking up with one woman you can go slack and take your foot off the gas. You are choosing to invest in a LTR- treat your investment well and don't let it go to shit just because it's easier to go all passive and lazy.
