So i read a post today about a Muslim's experience with growing feminism in his country(pretty much on track).i thought it would be fun to compare notes and see if you guys would be interested in my perspective.I’m a 23 year old Indian and longtime lurker on this subreddit . Please excuse my English,I've been told i don't write well but i have a lot to share.Sorry for the long post
I grew up watching Hollywood movies and TV shows (friends was a family favorite). It was fascinating to see the many differences between our cultures and learned a lot but what drew me most was how liberal everyone was about sex,how even the ladies were cool with hookups and one night stands.Watching charlie sheen or barney stinson get laid was mind blowing.I couldn't believe women would sleep with assholes like that.I hated the restrictive culture in India that didn't allow us youth to have fun like our western counterparts, and it especially bothered me how much we restricted the freedom of girls(most aren't allowed to go to clubs or partying by their parents). Then i came upon the Red pill.It was an eyeopener. And slowly I began seeing things in a new light it made me understand and appreciate the rules and restrictions posed by culture and religion and the structure they provide. It isn't an exaggeration to say that it changed me as a person. As i continued my journey down the rabbit hole i noticed that a lot of red pill theory doesn't apply to me or to my brothers across Asia and Africa where feminism hasn't poisoned our cultures(yet). For instance spinning plates does not apply to me because there simply aren't enough women who want purely sexual relationships. Most girls wont come near you unless they see a future with you.So no pump and dump for me.Like wise unicorns do exist in my world,i know a lot of you will say no AWALT
I agree with AWALT their natural inclinations(hypergamy, hamstering, etc) aren't necessarily bad things they help women find the best man from among their options but the big difference here is that we still have a society that keeps a check on them.Marriage is still the norm so once a woman gets married she pretty much done unless she has an affair(seen as a grave sin) which is very uncommon or gets a divorce which is scandalous and causes shaming for both the parties. At the same time lifting and always trying to increase SMV are the parts which have helped me improve myself .With these conditions in place it is difficult for me to practice red pill philosophy and i would appreciate discussion and advice from you guys.
Women in India-Women are still pretty feminine.society still expects them to be gentle, kind, motherly, and to settle down soon (in their 20s for most)But the change is arriving. western media is regarded with reverence and seen as an authoritative source for moving on from our “backward” culture. All the ‘progressive’ and politically correct views dictated by west are taken as standard by celebrities and new politicians who try to propagate these ideals for international acclaim and I hate to say it but it is happening.every few days i see some news about feminists and women's organizations taking issue with how we still don't want our ladies to work or how we are still stuck in the middle ages for expecting them to be the ‘perfect little housewives’,and its catching on.More and more of our college educated women are pouring into the workforce. So what changes can we expect lets wait and see.
Men in India- In India if society restricts women then there are responsibilities heaped on men a man who doesn't look after his family doesn't or provide is scum. This makes Indian guys the biggest blue pill beta bitches around. So much that I've heard of guys overseas with high paying jobs getting screwed by hypergamous chicks(cant find the link sorry).Even our sports players ooze nice guy pheromones(See chubby Indian cricketers). That's not to say that we don't have alphas but they mostly are uneducated or from rural settings as far as I've seen.Every young guy before going to college is basically shown the beta dream study, get a good job, settle down with a nice girl, look after your family. So far it hasn't caused much of a problem other than henpecked doormat husbands & disappointing sex.But what does the future hold with rising feminism and women's rights taking up as major players that are influencing national policies and societal values?I don't know and dread the answer. Love to hear your take on this. There are a lot of things i want to discuss with you guys but maybe some other time.Anyways cheers from India.
Edit-I would really appreciate some guidance and input from guys who have gamed women in India and who have plates here
