I have seen multiple times on this sub and /r/asktrp questions about whether or not you should ever apologize to a girl, or whether or not apologizing comes across as being beta, etc.

Let's be real here, we are gonna fuck up from time to time. We have probably all said something to a woman that we might not agree with in retrospect, I know I have. I personally don't believe that I should just ignore my mistakes, I see the value in apologizing. The man I want to be is a man who can recognize when he is wrong and can act accordingly. However, especially when dealing with your gf or any other random plates you might be spinning, apologizing can royally fuck you over if you do not do it right.

Here are my thoughts on how to apologize to a woman while still maintaining frame:

Make sure that you make it very clear that you are apologizing because YOU believe it is the right thing to do, and not to appease her. Make it very clear that what you said/did violated YOUR personal beliefs and as such, you apologize.

If you let her believe that you are apologizing because you don't want her to be mad anymore or that you are doing it because it's what she wants, she might lose her attraction to you.

Establish the idea that deep down YOU, not her, believe you should be apologizing. You are admitting your fuck up because YOU think it is right, not because of her. As always, maintain frame.

Let me know what you think fellas.

EDIT: To clarify, you should only be apologizing when you feel it is necessary, which should be rare. If you find yourself wanting to apologize frequently, you probably aren't learning from past mistakes. Deal with that ASAP.

And of course she will probably throw a bunch of shit tests at you so don't fall for that nonsense. When she starts ripping into you, even after you've apologized, tell her that you already apologized and do not carry on the conversation. Simply walk away. As long as you've maintained your frame, she should want you again.
