Alpha vibe is a manifestation of the alpha traits. You either remain being alpha, move in and out of it for various reasons or are beta.

There is no singular definition of an Alpha male. You have different societies, traditions, societal expectations and also choices of women. Alpha could be defined as the most socially successful male in a given societal group. If you had 3 men in a room, one was a blue pilled white knight, the second one was a regular guy and the third was confident, attractive and assertive, the third guy would be the alpha lf that specific group.

Normally you'd think Elon Musk is a total alpha. Now pair him up with Vlad Putin. Two completely different societies, two men, both of them alphas in their own environments yet when paired, the dynamics can change and most likely Vlad would be the alpha due to his power.

PUA is not wrong. It is an attempt to get you laid by utilising human psychology knowledge, changes in your demeanor and behaviour. All of these are in some form traits. Whether they are Alpha depends on whether the changes make you more socially attractive.

The Red Pill has never clearly defined a lot of things, which is why there is so much contradictory information around here. Because this is a forum about sexual dynamics, I made an attempt to define Alpha purely in terms of sexual dynamics and got beaten to a pulp. So whatever. There's really no point in trying to discuss these issues. The community has settled on its vague definition and that isn't going to change.

As to this the topic at hand, the PUA community is mostly snake oil salesmen as should be obvious to everyone. Unlike TRP, there is no empirical basis for PUA and plenty of reason to believe that "success" attributable to it is nothing more than an artifact of external factors. TRP developed because the real thought leaders like Rollo perceived the massive shortcomings of PUA.

TRP has never clearly defined what an alpha male is, either. I've seen the alpha male definitions galore. We all have the rich cocky slick businessman in mind but there's also the jock and there's the emo rockstar (and for each some even go to lengths to create new terms such as Renegade Alpha) and that's just off the top of my head, barely scratching the surface. It's cute, but it feels more like a bunch of teenagers who never had sex talk about sex, you can feel the cringe. Being alpha is, at its core, being happy and satisfied in life, including the sexual aspect. Seriously, there's no quota to fill, you don't have to have fucked X amount of women to be alpha, but if that's what makes you happy, possibly having achieved that and that making you happy would amount in you being happy and satisfied with your life which makes you alpha. If you're a perfect conman that can sell ice to Inuits and get into any woman's pants and that makes you happy, bro, you're alpha. If you have a happy wife next to you and you're honestly satisfied with your sex life, you're alpha. There's nowhere higher you can go from there as a personal success measuring regarding sex. PUA is barely a tool to reach your desires, and attesting or not to the tool's usefulness is not the focus of the discussion; Neither is morality, the moral choice begins and ends whether you consider your pursuit of happiness to be more important than some stranger's possible mental welfare.

im a throw my take on this discussion out there. these are my defenitions

alpha - the highest or higher up males in a social setting.

attractive man - a man who has a powerful masculine prescene - created by a combination of looks , physical and mental strength, and the respect he recieves in an environment

social tension - a social situation where tension arrises - asking a girl out , telling someone to stop bothering you , bothering someone , negotiating a business transaction , being detained by the police , getting robbed, robbing someone

" holding frame " is holding your own in social tension. in a serious situation this can be critical

PUA teaches boys to mimic the behavior of an attractive man. the body language , tone of voice , confidence , eye contact. it also teaches to approach , approach , approach

is it bad ? no. however it does not adress the core problem with "betas" directly . the core problem is social weakness - inability to deal with social tension. in the west much social tension has been drastically from society . this is good in that we have safer countries to live in but it comes at the cost - we have weaker people . people who are heavily immersed in academia or god forbid video games or anime do not deal with much social tension.

why are criminals , thugs , and hard asses so attractive ? they are masters of dealing with social tension.

however , cold approaching the way pickup recommends is immersion in social tension . thats why RSD and such say approach approach approach. however, it would make more sense to toughen a kid up first - and then send him to do pickup .
