1) I don't want you to get the idea that this will become an exclusive relationship

2) I want to make you jealous so that this might become an exclusive relationship

Women do this in order to justify their platehood to themselves. Here's how it goes down.

IMHO, if i knew a girl had one (or many) regular FWB, I would not get into a relationship with her. I would have a one night stand for exemple but that's it.
That means she cannot settle to a LTR with the FWB as it is just sexual and nothing more. If she wants to settle with you, It will not be only sexual but she will expect much more from you : Commitment, gifts, ring...
Why can other guys fuck her just for sexual pleasure (for free) but you'd have to commit and have to spend money and gift on her as she would expect from a LTR boyfriend.

I remember reading an article on here about attraction, like how one gender will try to mimic what he or she finds attractive in a man or a woman and will try to project it onto themselves in order to attract their ideal mates. But men and women are different so it doesn't work that way. ie. Women are attracted to a promiscuous men, but it doesn't mean men are attracted to promiscuous women. Men are attracted to submissive women, but it doesn't mean women are not attracted to submissive men.

Maybe the message is that she`s trying to get you attracted to her by mimicking what she finds attracted in a man, being a promiscuous girl. She could be into you and trying to get you to like her, or like you said, impress you.

I met a girl like that a couple of weeks ago. She was bragging about the guys she`s been with, guys that shes currently dating, w.e. I only see this two ways from my limited view of the girl
