Okay, imagine this: I have a plate, that says:

My point is: Don't listen to women. You wouldn't listen to a rabbit, who tells you how to hunt rabbits. You would listen to the hunter. Like /u/BestSC86 said, women tell you what you want to hear. I'm probably still blue pill in many ways, that's why my plates tend to play my "sweet" side. You may try to overcompensate, that's why they are playing your "alpha" side. Fact is, they are trying to play us both.

Still this amazes me. I have babysat friend's toddlers a few times. The stupid games they play to outwit you are the SAME ones that women play. They even react the same when you call them out for it - shit eating grin > cute-sounding excuse > blame you > change the subject.

It's funny once or twice, but some women abuse the fuck out of it worse than toddlers.

I use to watch old tv shows where the running joke was that the husband just never listens. The guy would literally just tune out everything the female says, nothing but fucking white noise to replace her as she stomps around and does what not. Had one the other night texting me asking for advice about some dude who took her out. . . then asked me to come fuck her in the same text convo. The "nice girl" trap happens to women too, only society doesn't serve up women the silver spoonfuls of validation their male counterparts receive, a flavor infusing everything from snl skits to sheeran lyrics to red pill Reddit vitriol. Years ago I had the cathartic but commonplace realization: you can't make/manipulate/emotionally twist someone into having a relationship with you, even if you really really want (or think you want) to be in a relationship with them, and trying to make them..kind of makes you a pathetic creepy person. It was a freeing moment for me, it caused all the weight I'd placed on myself and others around me to lift. I felt light and airy, it's a realization I have since been growing like you'd tend a baby plant. A lot of women and men come to this realization, the realization that it's self injurious and futile to waste time and emotion on someone who's radar you barely blipped, the realization that it's healthy to move on that, that no you don't have a right to them just because you want them, maybe you're in different places or they're just not into you, or they were a user and you wanted more but at the end of the day you're not a heroic victim and they're not a scandalous villain, you're just people. The rub in it for me is what a difference society makes when women and men both find themselves in either the situation of the wanted or the wanter. For instance society doesn't recognize the concept of the "nice girl" not in the way of the ever deserving never getting, "nice guy". There are no "nice girls" lost in the limbo of the friend zone, there are only clingers, and psychos, sluts who should have known better and pump and dumps. "Nice guys" on the other hand, let's bust out the sad violin, heart of gold, dick dry but swoll. They're depicted as the teddy bears, the pocket books, the fixers, the friends. Society both pities and derides them. We root for them in rom coms ad nauseum and feel oh so validated when they finallllyy get the oh so contrite hot girl (don't worry she didn't really give it up to Chad). Because after all the nice guy deserved her, deserved to put his penis in her, because he was nice. So how does society treat the wanted? The whammers, bammers, thank you mammers, the Samantha's of the world. What does society say about them. Well for dudes, shit y'all are living it up, turn it up, the boys are back in town. Casa novas have always been societies golden gods, the glorious heros of legend, riding in riding out, the cowboy, the rocker, the spy, the sailor. Men want to be him, women want to be with him. Society gushing w/ praise at every heart branded and belt notched. Cause that's just how they do ya dig. The wanted women however, aren't lying on such a bed of roses. They are the cold bitches, the sluts, the hoes, the gold diggers. Whether society is viewing them from the nice guy perspective or from the bro perspective the outcome is the same: they are bad. Be they clingy, or cold, bitchy or slutty, nobodies gonna be striking up the band or passing out the hankies. The ridiculous part of all this is that all of us women and all of us men are interchangeable, we're all sometimes the wanted, we're all sometimes the wanter, we're all getting hurt, we're all feeling good, we're all going through shit, for the most part making our way the best we can. Why can't society see this, why are these tired dirt dog stupid flimsy boxes still being thrown over our heads. Fuck these blinders. Fuck what you heard. We're all just people. We're all just humans. The only way people can come together is to realize we already are.
