My friends and I go to an engineering school with very few women on a blue-collar island with few women. I screwed 3 women in my first three semesters there.

At the beginning of the fourth semester my friend brings a girl who just transferred to hang out with us. I can tell he is trying to woo her, so I relax and DGAF. Well, we all know how DGAF goes, so about a week into it I make out with her at a party. Later that night, feeling bad, I tell my buddy (let’s call him Ender) about it and apologize. He says, “Don’t worry about it man, that kinda thing doesn’t bother me.” So I’m thinking, “cool, I am going to bang this chick and it will be nice because I don’t get laid enough on this god-forsaken island.”

During the next week, I began dropping by her dorm on campus to make out and further my game.

At some point that week Ender, the girl, and a third friend come to my place for drinking. They all live on campus so boozing usually happens at my place. She kisses me as she walks in the door. The three guests proceed to get hammered. Third friend can see the tension rising between Ender and me. He knows that Ender has feelings for girl and that they hang out a lot. On this evening though, it appears that I am the victor. Ender overhears a conversation between the third friend and me, discussing the situation. Afterwards, Ender gets me to the side and declares it to be a “may the best man win situation.” I was glad to hear that because I thought he was going to tell me to back off, which I think I would have done. But now it felt like he had consented to me banging her, even though he liked her.

After that, I begin screwing her about once a week. But here’s the fucked up part, after the first time we sleep together, she tells me not to tell Ender. I assume that she doesn’t want to hurt his feelings, and neither do I, so I consent. Now the dynamic of our group is like this: me pretending that I’m not sleeping with her, Ender acting like a puppy dog, and girl acting oblivious. The three of us drink at my house and go to the beach together often. This continues until spring break.

After spring break I ask her if she is sleeping with Ender. She is. On the regular. So now I know that she is sleeping with both of us, but he doesn’t. I break up with her “to spare him.” But my motivations were mostly in the interest of not being a pussy. The reason I chose that day to confront her was because I had a date with a much more attractive woman that night and felt like airing out grievances. My game was phenomenal with the other woman, she came to my house for “sexy dinner date,” and we hooked up.

The next night I was feeling like a champion at a beach bonfire. I was drunk and having a good time mingling. All of the sudden, old girl is talking to me, kissing me on the neck and giving me googly eyes. I angrily tell her to back off. A while later, I walk down to the beach and she follows me. It’s an unspoken rule on this island that if a man and a woman are drunk at night at the beach, you are to go skinny dipping. So we do. This winds up back at my house with rowdy, rowdy sex. The sex was so great that decided to not feel bad about sleeping with the same girl as my friend.

So now the dynamic is, I’m sleeping with her even though I know she is sleeping with Ender and he probably knows but hasn’t acknowledged it. Eventually we both realize what is going on and come to terms with it. It’s so hard to get laid on the island that we both continue to screw her. This continues until the end of the semester.

Then she starts dating a buff sailor and dumps both of us, without telling either of us. Ender is very hurt. I’m mostly just pissed that I found out about it by seeing it with my own eyes at a bar. He was kinda in love with her, but I knew she was hoe, so it didn’t hit me very hard.

Moral of the story. Bitches are crazy. I got to bang her because I was alpha of my group. But had to share because her energy had a betatizing effect. In the end, we all got beta’d and she continued to ride the carousel.
