Pretty sure the SJW thing on 4chan is just trolls pretending to be SJW's for the lulz. If you are referencing the whole fappening garbage, it's just what the owner of the site has to do to protect himself. He can't afford a legal battle, even if he'd win....but he'd definitely lose

lastly, stay the fuck off of /b/ on 4chan, and maybe 4chan in general. /b/ is the only place being sensored and there is nothing of value from going there in the first place

I like how most of the things going on in enthusiast communities, discussion groups and interest spaces that are exploding right now regarding the appropriation or censorship of the discussion to align itself with a feminist imperative have been topics of discussion for years on communities like red pill and related.

The impending future of an extremely idealized, censored and controlled outlet for content creators is not looking well in the eyes of bystanders. At the same time in communities like these, it was predicted and speculated upon. Now more than ever is an unraveling reality.

While I don't like this future, alternative discussion spaces like this one help to make one self better prepared for the new reality.

Someone should create a life-raft version of TRP because I believe it has a high probability, that way when the hammer does come we can all congregate In the life-raft version and go from there. Something similar happened to a MGTOW forum which the mod shut down, so a few MGTOW popped up and now there's about 3 branches of the old forum.

the rumor is that the niece of the owner of Gawker is a tumblrista who attempted suicide after one of 4chan's recent raids on tumblr. also, Anita Sarkeesian and Zoe Quinn allegedly got a bunch of death threats and child porn spam that were traced back to 4chan boards, but i have no idea if that's true. I'm guessing that Moot has received serious threats from people in high places and he's just getting out and giving into demands to replace 4chan mods with politically correct people before he ends up in court. I'd do the same if I was Moot.

the censorship of "gamergate" and all that on reddit and other online forums was completely unacceptable. however, it revealed the true nature of contemporary hyper-leftist philosophy, and people will begin to notice. they have become authoritarian, chauvinistic, and dogmatic. i believe that any political ideology is already on the decline when it begins to censor opposing ideas and information because smart and integral people will notice and abandon it.

I like how "the old mods" hits the hear like "the old gods", like 4chan was once ruled by some unknowable living force. Which is not remotely true.

4chan mods are fickle and hypocritical, some of them just ban for the fun of it and make BS reasons for those bans. If GG is getting banned (and that means it's not more false flags or trolling.... and this is 4chan, people) it's probably not because of SJW. Having those on 4chan would make as much sense as having actual chicken in a Chicken McNugget.

If TRP gets anything like that it would wipe out half the sub and castrate most of the users in the verbal sense, not to mention how this could spread to related subs like crazy. So no, I don't think that would happen here. Barring the occasional rants and aimless outrage by our younger, probably slightly more impulsive visitors, TRP is wisely moderated and cracking down on anything has so far been fairly well announced (as far as I've seen it anyway).
