I'm 19 and a freshman at a top engineering school. I don't have any horror stories from my blue pill days since I'm so young (thank God). I dedicated myself to studying and my various interests in high school, so I attracted zero female attention in HS and was never even friendzoned, for a reference frame. I'm decent-looking, but completely socially aloof.

Anyway, today I had a lab section, and I had fooled around with my lab partner a few nights earlier this semester. She's a delightfully cute Chinese-American girl, virgin. I COMPLETELY have TRP to thank for what I did to attract her. But the fling pretty much officially died out about a month ago, our only real interaction with each other now is in the lab where I do flirt with her some, kino (hate that word), etc.

So today, lab ends. I walk out of the building, and she calls my name. We usually walk back to our part of campus together after the lab. I stop and tell her that I'm going to go eat on the other side of campus. She looked surprisingly disappointed and said 'You suck, etc'. But the fact that she didn't eagerly invite herself along with me says a lot about how important I am to her these days. Back when we were playing with each other all night, she absolutely would have followed me.

The beauty of this little story is that it's not about her reaction. I don't care if she feels like she's not worthy of me anymore, or if I have other girls, or whatever. I truly didn't want to walk back with her: I wanted to eat at that particular cafeteria. I didn't want to walk back with her, so I didn't. I want to have sex with her (though I long since quit investing any effort into that with her). I don't want to talk with her. I want to eat. I want to have sex with her. I don't want to talk with her.

It's liberating.

Before I discovered TRP, I know exactly what I would have done.

  1. I would not have let myself get far ahead enough of her coming out of the building that I would have to awkwardly change direction when (not if) I decided to walk back with her.

  2. While walking with her, I would obsessively internally analyze the conversation, try to say the perfect sentence every time, freak out about potentially hurting her feelings, etc.

  3. During all of this, all of my thoughts would be centered around what I should be doing to make her happy, not a thought about making myself happy.

  4. And I'd be having just as much sex with her as I am right now.

I'm not some TRP hyper-success story. I've slept with 4 girls in my life. I have few friends. I don't lift-not because I don't have time, not because I can't do it, not because I don't think I need to do it to be more attractive, but because I simply do not have the internal drive to build myself to physical excellence. But I know how to focus on myself now and serve only myself, a lesson COMPLETELY lost on many, many males my age. The number of guys I know who think constantly texting, writing love letters, and asking them on dates is the secret to getting laid is painful. I have TRP to thank for inoculating me against a beta/scarcity mindset.
