Summary : In a male group / setting , the weakest one laughs first if under pressure ( direct eye contact , pointing out a thing about him) , the opposite of remaining unfazed and cool

Body : I was thinking about this and I'm damn sure noticed it before not realizing what it was.

  • For example , I met with a friend that I haven't seen in a long time , we both stared at eachother , I managed to control myself and he ended up smiling first . I felt I was in the position of power now.

  • Second example , at the gym some random dude was lying on a bench behind my back with his legs spread and foward. I stumbled across once by accident , looked at him impling to keep his feet home. Next set he did it again , I stared at him for like 10 secs , with a "get the fuck off look" , displaying no emotion at all and he couldn't stand it anymore , he smiled. I felt that he was displaying weakness.

Lessons Learned :

  • Smiling first in a male setting under pressure = weakness.

I may be wrong , who knows.
