I'm a recent college graduate who has recently received many monetary gifts, my future is bright. But a friend of mine, a great-grandmother, gave me some wisdom worth more than all the checks in the world. Shes an RP veteran widow that I've known for a few years now.

To make this as short as possible, her son (lets call him Joey) had a decent life up until he met a woman at work one day (lets call her Daisy). She was your classic damsel in distress: recently divorced, unemployed, hot n' bothered, and needy for poor sap to cling onto. Daisy threw herself at this guy and they married in 3 months.

Skip 25 years and Daisy has divorced Joey, poisoned the image him and his mother to the kids, left him with a hundred grand in credit card debt, and 4k monthly alimony payments. Now Joey is seeking legal action to end all of the payments as Daisy is making more money than he is.

Now the part that amazed me was how Joey's Mother knew Daisy was a snake from day one. Daisy horribly mistreated her while showering Joey in love and adornment. Joey had 'no idea' for years. Daisy would claim that she needed money for paying the kids education, clothing, etc when in reality the mother was paying for them all. All Joey did was give, never really in charge of his life, even to the point where he ignored his Mother's warnings until it was too late. She even told me Daisy permanently withheld sex from him at some point in the marriage, causing him to get into alcohol, and give Daisy a point of leverage to use in court.

I sat and listened to this story, my first real life encounter with one of these 'worst case scenarios' that Ive only read about here on TRP. It was all textbook.

Seeing how much a beta mindset can fuck you up later in life was a shock to my system that I really needed at this time in my life. Had I never found TRP, I would have made the same mistake as this guy. I would have cursed my parents, that this is the 'only woman to ever love me', and that they were at fault for making me so goddamn undesirable. Now the last few cloudy scales have fallen from my eyes. Everything is in my control, ignorance is not an excuse. I may have lived most of my life at the bottom of the lowest cesspool, but Im using everything in my power to craft my ideal lifestyle in this reality.

TLDR: We are men. We control what happens to us, and those around us. It doesn't matter if you have had a shit experience, or have been rolling in pussy since day one - take ownership of your life and set standards for yourself.

And, if you decide to get married, listen to your fucking parents. If they are decent, they'll see shit you might not see if you haven't swallowed the pill fully yet. And if you're like me, keep a good relationship with your Mom so that you can use her as an advanced bitch filtering system. They say a woman can only truly love her kids, so its worth trying.

  • but then again, is 25 years of suffering and some sweet tasting chemicals in your brain worth throwing half your life away? At least spend more than 3 months thinking about this.
