Most of us who have been here a while will probably think this is common sense, but it's mostly for beginners having trouble getting started on improving themselves. There are several things that I've found only take 2 weeks to really get into a good habit of if you just do them consistently. Here are a few:

1) Exercise/lifting: You all know I had to start here. More often than not, beginners to TRP don't take this seriously enough. Go to the gym 6 days a week for 2 weeks. It basically becomes a necessity. After 2 weeks, you won't feel right physically or mentally if you skip the gym. Doesn't matter if you're cutting or bulking, just go. Yes, there will be other people there. That's just something you're gonna have to get used to. Get outside of your comfort zone. Look up a workout that works for you and go do it. 45 minutes to an hour per day. If you have time to smoke weed and play video games, you have time to go to the gym. Simple as that. After 2 weeks, you can cut it down to 5 days a week if you want. But for the first 2 weeks, just go.

2) Maintaining a steady diet: Most people blow this one out of proportion. You don't have to cut out every food you love, as long as they're not loaded with sugar. Download the "Lose It" app. You put in your age, height, current weight, and the weight you wanna get to. The app will tell you how many calories you can eat per day to reach your goal weight, and when you will hit that weight if you stay on track. Just don't forget to log everything you eat and drink, and log your exercise. Combine that with intermittent fasting (look it up if you need to) and you will be shocked at how easy it is to lose weight. After 2 weeks of limiting your calories, you won't feel super hungry anymore when you're only getting 2200 calories per day instead of 3500. If you do go back to eating like a cow, that's exactly how you're gonna feel. It's an automatic confidence boost when you see the pounds falling off so fast.

3) Quit smoking cigs: I'll admit, this is the one I've had the most trouble with. I'm 25, been a smoker since I was 19. That shit is haaaaard to kick, but you gotta do it. This one is more of a 2 week interval kind of deal. If you smoke a pack a day, do 2 weeks of half a pack. Then 2 weeks of 5 a day. Then 3 a day (maybe one after each meal). You WILL notice a difference. You won't wake up with a terrible taste in your mouth, you can breathe way better, you won't constantly smell like an ashtray, etc. Heart disease and lung cancer are no joke.

4) Talk to people: A lot of newbies here are here partly because they're socially awkward. It's just a common theme with my generation and the younger generation. We're so used to talking to people through a phone or from behind a computer, we forget how to converse in person. This doesn't even have to mean "talk to women", just talk to somebody. You see someone on the street, look them in the eyes with a slight smirk and ask them how they're doing. They will almost always just say "good, how about you?" Then just say "doing pretty good" and be on your way. That's a start, if nothing else. Do this at least once a day for 2 weeks and eventually it will be a habit. Your approach anxiety and fear of rejection will minimize, you may make a new friend, and hell, you may get some phone numbers if you have the balls to ask for them. Don't forget, we're all just people. The HB9 you see in the coffee shop, your boss, even Chad himself, all just people.

Those are just a few things that can be made into good habits in 2 weeks or less, as long as you stay consistent. Feel free to add to that list if you can think of any more. Cheers, men.
