The Chameleon, also known as a man without a personality-

When on his own, in his own house, his own sphere, he is finally comfortable. The Chameleon is the beta guy who is perceived cool, but when in the same room as a true alpha he will crawl up in a corner. Even more so if in the same room as two or more. Because then he doesn't know who to blend in with.

The Chameleons view on friendship is likeness. He thinks that if you want to befriend someone you have to act the same way as him. Mamba he even does it subconsciously. The chameleon will use words he'd NEVER use if he were alone or with someone else as long as he is in the same room as an alpha who does. But this creates TONS of social problems and restrictions for the chameleon, and even more so for the "friends" he have.

Some examples of problems this can create:

  • Splits social circles depending on how you have to act around certain people in them.

  • Constant nervousness around men you can't instantly read.

  • Build a web of lies only to keep one friend away from another.

  • Constantly dependent on another source of value in order to create your own.

The chameleon simply reflects his environment out of nervousness to be himself. A true alpha, or a true man should be himself unapologetically, in every situation.

The chameleon is the same guy who applies "styles". At one period in his life he might have adapted the EMO style, at another time he might have adapted the skater style. All of this to find resemblance and an environment to blend in to. If the chameleon is deeply rooted you might even change styles depending on who you're going to hang out with. One day you could wear leatherback and army boots. The other you might wear mocha shoes and a suit.

This is extremely dangerous if you want to be a man in charge.

Don't change yourself for your environment. Change the environment to your advantage, or even better, accept everything as it is. And simply be you.
