The story is the best example of social proof that I've seen recently.

Even though the actor is just barely a celebrity, it's getting him laid.

I posted the video by request, in reaction to a story in XOJane. I won't link the article, but here's a summary:

In the XOJane article, the author was in her late 30s and she had sex with an over-the-hill action hero that she met at a comic book convention. The author said that it was literally "the dumbest thing I've ever done." Stop and think about that one for a minute: the author was so thoroughly crushed by how disappointing it was, she feels that it's the dumbest thing she's ever done. It's safe to say that this experience will haunt her for the rest of her life, and she's deeply scarred by it.

Here's the kicker:

If you read the comments, it's filled with young women scolding her for being a prude. Young women literally telling her that degrading sex is OK, and that she should get over it(!!!) So here we have a woman, WHO ACTUALLY EXPERIENCED SOMETHING TRAUMATIC, and feminists (who did not experience what she did) are telling her that her feelings are bullshit.

Even more bizarre, the comments are filled with young women basically saying "I wish that happened to me", and speculating on who it is.
