I believe that the wonderful thing about TRP is that, unlike feminism and fat acceptance bullshit, nobody is going around trying to convince people to be like we want. Instead we preach self-improvement which then leads to the wanted results. In the end you can only control yourself, you cannot control others.

TRP is not a movement, the only one you can save is yourself. It is not about changing the world, it is about changing yourself.

Stop trying to change the world, this only dilutes the message.

TRP is not a movement. Mods have made this very clear.

But I still agree with you. It's all about personal accountability.

Actually, women ARE getting paid as much as man. The wage gap is a myth.

[–]BreezeDM8 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

In some engineering fields they are paid more if you control for experience, hours worked, skill set. Also women managers typically pay women less than male managers pay women.

Though OP didn't articulate it very well, I believe that he tried to express what you're saying - the fact that yes, men are grossing more $, but that's because they are working more hours and choosing more lucrative fields, not because of "the patriarchy." At least, that's what I inferred from:

Feminists choose to blame the patriarchy and not the fact they don't work hard enough.

First of all, TRP is not a movement, it's just a collection of truth. That's why it's so powerful: it's descriptive (tells you what is) rather than prescriptive (tells you what should be).

Second, you are very correct that the only person you can change is yourself. Instead of waiting for the world to change for you, one should pick themselves up by their bootstraps and make the changes they need in order to get what they want. Like one of my favorite shirts: "Don't complain about the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do"

Or like one of my own sayings: "Pray to god that it's your fault; otherwise there's nothing you can do to fix it."

I like that last quote playa.

Women aren't getting paid as much as more than men, so feminists try to change that.

Fixed that for you.

[–]RedSugarPill1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In many places, women are getting paid more than men, but they want unilateral control of everything.

Blame

It's really one of the oldest tricks man uses to deal with reality.

Blame almost always develops into something mythical. We typically build the story up a little so that our blaming seems more justified. We exaggerate. We turn a truthful situation into a myth. We lie, but not so much we become conscious of the lie.

Identity Politics is our modern recreation of the mythical archaic world. We blame everyone else. Why? Because it's legal now. We've invented "rights" that give people full power to accuse others and create myths about enemies that in previous times would have been thrown out as pure nonsense.

So all battles today are mythical wars. The "blaming wars" are the return to the ancient past. We have returned to primitive man.

Political correctness is the living myth.

.

And this is why Red Pill is different. We don't try to "live the myth" but seek truth in whatever form it might present itself. If a guy gets divorce raped we recognize the truth and severity of the matter and never sugar coat it. We can handle the truth when others believe myths.

.

Women aren't getting paid as much as men, so feminists try to change that.

Oh yes they are, don't believe this perpetual myth. Like for like, pay is the same, higher in some cases for women.

TRP is not a movement. We are not even trying to create change. TRP is The Truth About Women And Society. We are not trying to make their behaviour illegal, or shamed or different. We'd like the laws to be less favourable to women at our expense, but we have no real plan how to make that happen. We are not advocating a strike, we are not saying "avoid marriage until women agree to give us xxx". We are saying for instance "avoid marriage because it's a terrible deal, you are under the influence of new relationship energy and hormones, and it is a terrible mistake".

Most of all we are showing men how women are, how society is. What they do with that information is beyond our control and that's how we want it.

As such we act in the best interests of our members, not in the best interests of the group. We have no agenda to push, we are not trying to get anything. And certainly not publicity or attention for ourselves.

Red pill is absolutely truthful about human nature. It's unpleasant, but necessary to grow and deal with this world properly. Other movements sell easy pills and shortcuts to supposed happiness, but this happiness will only last so long. Red pill strives for permanent glory.

[–]Evileddie130 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Movement, Ideaology? Fuck that noise, this is mother fucking reality. This is a god-damned-E=HOW SHIT IS. This isn't a 'movement', it's the fucking speed of light...a UNIVERSAL CONSTANT.

[–]Es_Kyuu0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

My dad was unconsciously red pill as fuck I've learned and never let me get away with complaining about anything unless I was going to do something about it. Sadly that's just not common these days.

[–]LimitlessMan691 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Yeah, I feel as though the main message of TRP is to find out how to make yourself happy.

whether that be through lifting, getting laid,or just having more friends. Just as long as you're happy with your life.

[–]ScarletBliss1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Here's the fundamental difference between TRP and feminism, fat activists and the like: The latter try to change public perception, whereas the former tries to change your own perception of things. Instead of complaining and blaming, it teaches you to adapt and overcome.
