The West has ended up implementing the husband swap/child abuse scheme in the past few decades. You can probably guess what I mean, at least the first part. Let me elaborate, though.

Husband swap: Yeah, a woman who has kept herself decent looking can get herself fucked by a Chad well into her 40s. However, sailing rudderless not only gets fucking tiring after a while, it gets her into a ton of problems. Having divorced her children's father in order to jump back on the cock carousel, she now gradually discovers that the house starts to accumulate all sorts of minor and major problems, her relationships with her colleagues are getting swamped by constant misunderstandings, finances are by some inexplicable process going south, and, apart from those glorified moments when she sucks Chad's dick when life takes on a pacifying, shiny lucidity, apart from those, it's a barren wasteland of anxiety and listlessness.

So, cutting to the chase, suddenly, divorcee Dan-the-average is not so bad an option. He has a full set of hair, not much of a dad bod, always eager to help, he's a good dad to his children... New and therefore somewhat unexplored, as well. Many LEDs turn green on that mating calculator that's always running inside her skull bone.

Since there are not enough Chads for each and every woman, divorcees eventually pair up for an LTR or second marriage with what was previously another woman's husband.

The net result, society-wise, is an open-market exchange of second-hand husbands, that get to service second-hand women between her Chad-splurges.

But this, practically, fails to secure a woman's deep-seated desire for stability and security. Where, then, does she get it from? Obviously, from her children. "They are her world". Not so much as to remain faithful to their dutiful father and her ex-husband, but still, she'd give her life for her kids. (Although not her pussy.)

So it's son, or, dutiful daughter, that has to take care of mommy. Mommy has secured eternal childishness, while the child is parentified. That's what the whole game is, now. Stealing your child's puerility. It's child abuse, of course, but what else can a "strong and independent woman" do, so that she can become "strong and independent"? Develop, all of a sudden and eschewing millions of years of evolution, accountability? A prerequisite for that total domination over her children is the distancing of their father, who is the only one that can protect them from the consuming mother. Hence, men are only allowed to do subpar, substitute father service for another man's children, which comes in handy for the women, and also guarantees that he can't interfere with her kids' parentification process.

Too many people judge things by economic standards, overlooking that there is a psychic economy that's quite distinct from the monetary one. If financial success was everything, the rich wouldn't get mental issues. However, you can be a literal prince and be quite fucked up.

And it's the female sexual strategy, that's running away unbridled, that's shaping the world as we see it happen before our eyes, and fucking up the (eternal) children's mental health.
