"Stop doing things I don't like!"

Stripped of all the posturing and politically-correct bullshit, that's what this entire "movement" boils down to.

The prevailing idea on TRP is that the #MeToo movement is one gigantic shit-test writ large over the entirety of western society, designed to covertly root out and identify the kind of unfuckable betas who will eagerly agree with the irrational, nonsensical principles the movement thinks it espouses. I subscribe to this idea myself.

But even if you don't, it still shouldn't be taken seriously or hold any weight in your mind.

To get to the heart of this issue, we must ask why the movement exists. What goal does it hope to achieve? What do these women (think they) want?

The most popular answers given to those questions can be described using one of my favorite words: specious.

If something specious, it means that it is seemingly plausible and valid on a superficial level, but upon more thorough investigation is discovered to be total fucking bullshit.

What do these women claim to want? That's easy. They want a broad-scoping, universal set of standards for behavior and speech as it relates to men approaching, conversing, escalating, and being intimate with women. A set of rules for men so that they don't make women feel uncomfortable or uneasy. Seems simple and benevolent enough, right?

Wrong.

It's a great idea, until you remember one very important thing: when an attractive enough man comes along, women have no standards. A man can be called a "short, creepy loser" approaching one HB8 on an off night, and literally lead another around his apartment on a leash before fucking her in her butt on the next. The only difference is how the two perceive him. Women often harp on the right to bodily autonomy. You hear the same statement in many different contexts: "My body; my choice!" I could not agree more.

Women are born and live with the absolute right to treat anyone trying to gain access to their body in whatever way they please, with near complete impunity. We afford them the right to act as irrationally or as flighty as they may please, to one minute express desire for sex, and the next minute go cold and ghost forever. To treat an unattractive man who approaches her as a direct and malicious affront to her desirability, and at the same time to act as a submissive, degenerate sex slave for a man she perceives as worthy. Indeed, when it comes to matters of flirting, dating, and sex, we allow women absolute power. And we should, because the consequences of that behavior are hers and hers alone to bear.

The problem with #MeToo is that it expresses the desire for that degree of female power to extend into the social, professional, and even legal realm. Women want the power to create a set of rules for men to abide by when interacting with them, with the convenient caveat that those rules be allowed to disappear into the ether when it suits them (and only them). And rules are only rules when they are enforceable and carry serious consequences. We have a word for that kind of rule-making: tyranny.

The inability of women to recognize this connection is one of the foremost symptoms of solipsism. And despite the media frenzy and the politically-correct narrative that gets thrust upon us by these bleating, hen-pecking protesters and social-justice nut jobs, an important fact remains: grown-ups still run the world. The idea that this kind of hysterically self-absorbed, rationally incongruent thinking could ever be written into law is laughable.

So when you see it, when you hear it, and when you are inevitably confronted by this laughable bullshit, respond the only way that makes sense: by laughing at it yourself, and going about your day. Because by answering any other way, you are giving them exactly what they want.
