Oh, and note that the the author of that piece is a post-Wall (hitting the big 5-0 later this year) chick who has a raging case of "gender myopia", i.e. she is assuming what makes her happy about the opposite sex is that makes the opposite sex happy. Translation: "C'mon Millennial men! MAN UP and marry a post-wall hag already!"

Not necessarily advocating for babies, and most definitely not for marriage. But I did see a study where elder people were asked on happiness, fulfillment in life and, perhaps most importantly, the meaning of their life.

As it turns out, those who did have kids expressed, as a rule of thumb, a much more meaningful life. And this was on a self-reported basis, not a forced BP narrative or whatnot.

The bottom line was that yes, most experience the stress and frustration you are talking about. And yes, the ones with no kids did not experience any of that. But on their death bed, the ones with kids were, on average, dying happier.

Do not with this what you will. It may be a bittersweet consolation prize, it's most certainly something to consider when mulling over life and such.

As someone who works in the media, I can assure you that we write according to an agenda. Sometimes, the agenda is spelled out for you - like, you bash Hillary and get the boot automatically. Sometimes, the underlying agenda is enforced through popular opinion. Like when Roosh had his "rape" meetups. You could not write about it in an objective manner. His side of the story was to be ignored. Most people don't even think about this, they just hate because it's what's for dinner.

I saw a study years ago that out of a few thousand people who were polled in the UK with kids, something like 73% of them HATED being parents to the little shits but most told their friends it was the best decision ever because they didn't want to come across as stupid. I only remember being shocked at the number of unhappy parents over here, not the specific study or the numbers, but it was ridiculously high. I realise it's only a snapshot of a gigantic sector of people, but it was a real eye opener - having children means sacrifice, and there is a comparison between "I could do what I liked with all this money 5 years ago, now I'm stuck visiting child friendly resorts, being broke, not being able to ever do what I want, and the little shit isn't even grateful for anything - this sucks!" I've seen some angelic kids, but I've seen MANY more screaming bats making their parents wish they could legally shoot them. I've never seen the point in children myself, I'm glad other people may enjoy having them but it's not for me and as I'm installing the latest Graphics card in my PC, I give a thought to the poor dads who may have had to give up gaming altogether for whatever reason after having kids.

That wildly divergent personalities thing regarding your children is 100% true. Now that my friends are entering university/young adult lives and their parents are getting older you begin to wonder how the Fuck these people got along for 16 years or how they're related at all.

Hey post wall writer, what if I don't want more responsibilities outside of my work life?

What if I want to be able to travel wherever I want, without having to worry about a babysitter or watching over somebody during it?

What if I want more money for things that I want to do?

There is nothing wrong with having kids. I'm sure there are many people who like it, but it's not for everyone and some people who shouldn't have kids, unfortunately did.

Your dead on with this most of us rp married guys wish we knew better back then but teaching young guys and draining the sytem would be worth it maybe we had to go thru it to make betas wake up but there is always a nice guy out there saying not my wife marriage and kids are great only to find out weeks later shes been f*cking 15 guys during the last 12yrs he wakes up and ends up here, its very common women are that predictable what a shame plus she will only give him duty sex which he thinks is normal and does all the nasty shit for the other guys YOU STILL WANNA GET MARRIED YOUNG FELLAS.

The only problem I see with that lifestyle is he may never have a kid, and as a result his genetic line is ended when he dies. Is that what he wants?
