"The Talk"

I am still trying to figure this one out. I'm trying to get them to be non-reactive, but it is difficult. Kids tend to make big deals out of stupid stuff.

Things that I want them to understand: - Don't believe what girls say. They don't want a sensitive guy. In fact, don't show emotion around them, if you can avoid it. - They don't want someone who does everything they ask. They want someone who has his own thing going on that they can join. - They say that what is inside is what matters, but it only matters AFTER the outside is taken care of. If they wanted a friend, they could do that with other girls. They date because they want sex. With someone sexually attractive. And your attractiveness is under your control.

I'd love to see what others say about this.

I think the answer lies in the age of the child. But the others hit on hit here; example, mentorship, and narrative story.

I've got a seven year old boy from the divorce. He lives with me most of the time.

When I say that he watches me, that's kind of an understatement. He emulates me and then tries to do what I am doing. Shoveling snow (no joke), lifting weights, reading a book (he'll go get one of his own), checking out produce at the grocery store, he's into that. He wants to know what I'm doing and why. And then he tries to do it. At some point, he drifts off and loses focus, but shit, he's 7; gotta cut the kids some slack. He sticks with things longer and longer than he used to though.

I have a friend I look in on from time to time. I'll help her with some of the heavy lifting around her house, yard work or bringing firewood in, and usually she will cook dinner for me. When he's with me, I mentor him on those tasks, but let him work as he is able.

And when he asks me the why of things; he does better with stories. I know the story has sunk in when he tells those stories back to me, or to another person, later on.

There may be a talk. But for that boy, I'm thinking it's going to be a reinforcement of things that I have shown him in the past, or that he's seen. Lead when no one else will. Never quit. Never be afraid to approach. Give a kind word. Help those that need it. Have fun.

Honestly, when I look at him, he's completely red pill. There's nothing that he does that doesn't make him laugh. He's active. He's not afraid of other kids and he's kind to them.

He will take his lumps, and frankly, he needs to in order to grow. Giving him opportunities to succeed and learning to accept failures and learn from them. That's the best "talk."

The rest is verbal reinforcement for when he's older in life and things seem less clear.

I often wondered this myself upon discovering TRP... (Short time lurker, first post. I think I have a general idea of TRP now, so here goes.)

Different users have varying levels of commitment to the ideologies of this RedPill theory. I agree with a lot of the ideas, especially when it comes to things like being your own man, not being dependent or hung up on a girl (even thought it will happen to the best of us, admit it). I hate the terms "Alpha" and "Beta"...

But I digress. When/If you have a daughter, do you tell her about the principles of TRP? I mean, do you go as far as to basically tell her that men are dominant? If she's having boy troubles and decides to confide in you, do you tell her it's his call? That she should have just fucked him while she had the chance, because there's plenty of other girls that will put out?
