I don't know why this infuriates me, but my reasoning is simple. But let's just look at the following context.

I am in a local small private college cafe, I overheard these two college girls (juniors or seniors) talking about how they are really excited about going to visit Yale.

At one point I hear this one chick say to her friend "Yeah this is where I am going to find my future husband....I'm not kidding, I am going to find my future husband".

I pity any man who falls for this women. Here is what makes me furious. Like any college girl, I am assuming she has seen her fair share of sexual encounters. But now she wants to go husband shopping at an institute because for some reason that's where she is going to find her happyness.

Now I have personally been to Yale, had an opportunity of meeting some of the people there, and made some friends in the process. The people who have attended this university have worked there butts off since they were about 10 years old. They are some of the best humans I have ever meet. They really deserve the success they have achieved. They themselves only deserve the best, espically when it comes down to choosing their female counterparts.

What I dont understand, and what really pissed me off, is why this small town college girls thinks she is even automatically entitled to having one of these guys.

To me it just seem hippocritical that one day your sleeping around, and all of sudden you want to settle down and play your mental games on someone who is smarter, a harder worker, and most likely going to make it pretty good in society. Am I an "average frustrated chump" ? A little, I mean I am a scientist, and a club promoter. So I see multiple faces of women. Its just to me, thinking your entitled to someone who does have the honor of attending one of the worlds best institutions, and subconsciously saying "that nobody at my current school even matters, and the man at Yale is going to give me everything". Its just how the world shouldn't operate, but its reality.

To me this is what is unsettling about the society we live in.

What do you guys think ?
