I think that charm or charisma is the outward aura that you're in control of yourself. You're not nervous, shy, or awkward like a beta. And you aren't overly loud, boisterous, or aggressive like a guy from Jersey Shore - qualities that immature men think are alpha, but are really beta signals of insecurity.

A charismatic man sends out steady, strong energy. He speaks, walks, and acts confidently. He talks about interesting subjects, and listens with interest when other people are talking. People feel charisma when someone makes them feel important. Humor is important too. I think that charm is basically the same thing. Knowing when to pick on her in a playful way (not negging), knowing when to be nice. Just in general being a fun, attractive person to be around

Do yourself a big favor and read Mark Bowden's "Winning through Body language"Winning Body Language: Control the Conversation, Command Attention, and Convey the Right Message without Saying a Word"(Long ass title for a book in my opinion)

It does an excellent job of explaining how to be in control of YOUR body language and how to convey it.

The best example is learning about the Truth plane.Keeping your hands around your navel area or above makes your feel confident,calm,centred and grounded. This little tidbit was enough to make a massive change for me.

You can try it right now. First stand up with your hands just hanging by your side and notice how you feel. Then place your hands on your stomach and notice how you'll feel completely different.

Depends extremely on the person and their traits.

I 'win' friends and 'influence' people by un-charismatic behavior in the traditional sense. I am liked for being cute, more nice in the quasi-BP sense than charismatic in RP sense. I can project certain aspects of charisma. But, more than anything else, I'm just good at adapting and improvizing, which means I can motivate and connect if need be. With a broad segment of the population. Very few are beyond my ability to find something in common with, and thus beyond my ability to influence.

This is very different from someone who is outwardly charismatic and can sway people by sheer weight of character. That's a skill that requires energy in a way I can't create. I can latch onto it and reflect it off myself, creating high levels of energy. But it doesn't come from within me like it does with traditionally charismatic people.

So what is charming behavior? Well, it's what works with the person you are. Maybe that means being funny, wittiy, able to create energy seemingly out of nowhere (I know quite a few such folk and love being around them). Or maybe it means the ability to motivate and inspire individuals in other ways, engaging them more as individual people rather than just projecting the energy into the 'area' and letting them pick up the aura.

Essentially, charismatic means you can connect with people – regardless of how you do it. I wish I could give you a few books or sources. But I can't. For me, it's all about projecting energy, and not something I studied. It just happens or not.

Robert Greene - The Art of Seduction. It has an entire section on the personality type of the charmer and the charismatic, and some ideas on how to implement them towards your "victim". I'd recommend reading that and all his other books.

I would say simply by being relaxed, socially calibrated, funny/witty, minimal waste of wording and a geniune interest in the people you interact with.

Charming people realize that people want to feel VALUABLE.

How do you make someone feel valuable? You show that you have taste, i.e. you are good at seeing value and usually that means you yourself are valuable, and then you value them!

Valuing someone can be done by giving compliments, making someone laugh, or otherwise taking an interest in THEM.

See, being attractive and being social go hand in hand. Women heavily look rely on social proof to gauge your attractiveness. They make the assumptions that you meet new people constantly and live in abundance.

The only tweak to "pick up" a girl is slightly sexual body language and asking her out.
