Heh, I remember you. I made a thread there about how you should keep your skills sharp in case you got tired of your woman, or her hypergamy reared its ugly head, or whatever, and how doing so had helped me. And got a ton of upvotes from people who apparently thought I was talking about continuing to game your women after you get together, or something like that.

I don't think you particularly said anything wrong, but not everyone is as good at game as you are. Everyone has to start somewhere, and for many of them getting a #close is a victory. And it kinda is, even if they don't get to fuck her. They get to develop more social skills, and maybe make a few friends that will provide them with social proof later.

I'm disappointed in the place myself every time I read it - in my mind FR = fuck report, not just field report - but then I remind myself that it's a journey, and can celebrate with them. And encourage them to push further, like you did.

I guess that could be what you did "wrong" to collect your downvotes, yes you gave advice, but many of them are in the process of building inner game, and your truths hurt their ego.

I hope you'll still contribute there, but I understand if you won't.

I'll occasionally see a good post on there but I think most of the guys on here have grown beyond most of what's on that subreddit.

It went to absolute shit around the 60k user mark. Currently, it is being over run with white knights. I find it difficult to believe that the mods haven't noticed. perhaps they are enjoying the fact that they are over 100k users? The mods were called out a few times but nothing was ever done other than having them say "use the report link".

The worst part is, all of these new beta's/whiteknights are destroying the Top Links.

Being new to reddit, I quickly found /r/seduction and thought it would be a better resource than the beta-infused PUA forums I used to read.

I was wrong.

It's just the same! It's a forum littered with newbies who are interested in Game solely to get that One Girl they've had a crush on for years. They never get totally immersed in the theory behind it all: that Game is a lifestyle, not a phase.

Most of the stuff I read on there is junk anyways. There's some gold there, but you have to mine for it. I get peeved, though, by guys asking /r/seduction for relationship advice. Going to /r/seduction for gf problems is only a step better than /r/relationships. I've noticed that a lot of purported PUAs will stop running game once they "get" the girl. That's a nonstop trip to dumpsville. Your girlfriend became your girlfriend because she thought you were an alpha but you turned out to be a beta, and that's why your relationship is suffering.

because that place is the biggest circlejerk on reddit and is made up of a bunch of white knights and self-proclaimed alphas who delude themselves by constantly spewing a bunch of feel-good bullshit (e.g. "girls don't care about looks! they only want confidence, and you should be confident because you're the baddest motherfucker in the room. you're awesome, now go out and approach!!")

Eh, the sidebar is where all the good information is anyways. I've come to the conclusion that 99% of the comments on reddit are a waste of space and that goes doubly for something like seddit where the things you read are usually very situational, and whoever wrote what you're reading is probably very inexperienced. Still I credit Seddit with exposing me to a different perspective that has paid me huge dividends for the investment I made.

Seddit has definitely gone down hill.

The last few field reports I posted to seddit received fairly posititve non-white-knight responses, but the last one I bothered to write and post was a while ago. I'm not sure how a field report would be received now.

If I do ever write another field report, it will definitely be cross-posted here. TRP seems to be the only remaining bastion in a sea of fempologists.
