Of course you should lie. Or at least divert. Why the fuck would you tell her the truth? She's lying about herself (n-count, past experiences, future intentions, makeup, lipstick, clothing, etc). A little bit of "presentation" is perfectly allowed.

I'm detecting something bigger going on here but...

If you think this question is your deal breaker with women then you're going to place more and more emphasis on your response and the girl will unconsciously pick up your discomfort when she asks, and then you're on a downward spiral as your SMV goes into "re-evaluation mode" till more information is forthcoming.

If you lie about it then I think you're crossing your own ethical code but if you tell the truth then that's not going to work either.

I would not recommend you lie because it will eventually come out and she will not trust you after that.

I would be honest about not having been with a woman. If she asks why, you can say that you met some interesting women but they weren't that interested/had a boyfriend already and/or you were too busy with your school/degree/job to really make dating a priority.
