Why do women actively reject reality regarding their looks?

Imagine you had a trust fund.

You got a ton of money when you turned 18, partied it up, lived large, and now you realize that it's not going to last forever. Money is running out and your lifestyle has to shift downward to match.

Now there's no way for you to make that kind of money, so your only hope is fervently wishing there's another trust fund secretly stashed away for when you turn 35 or 40.

That's the thing about looks -- they are a depreciating asset and there's nothing you can do about it. Only band-aids and temporary measures to prolong the downward slide.

For a woman, the amount she can improve her appearance is like a trust fund kid working at McDonald's for spending money. It doesn't even touch the principle.

Her genes stick her with an absolute ceiling, and that ceiling slowly falls every day.

Men, on the other hand, get to make MORE money and increase their standing, power, fame, success, you name it.

For men, the advantage comes in EMBRACING reality. There's no hard ceiling determined by nature.

Blue pill males are the ones rejecting reality, thinking SHE'S THE ONE and things can only get worse without her.

Feminism has offloaded the female false reality onto unsuspecting males as a burden that they don't even know they don't have to carry. They are dragging a cross on their back that they can dump onto the dust at any point. They don't even realize that they don't have to carry it all the way until they're strung up and nailed to Holy Matrimony by the state.

Women just luck into a winning lottery ticket when they turn 18 without having to have done anything for it, so they don't understand why good fortune doesn't just keep falling out of the sky and landing on them.

Hope you don't mind a female answering this question.

Women don't want to be honest with themselves about lack of beauty because we know how much value is placed on looks by men. If a woman admits she doesn't have much to offer physically, she must also accept that she cannot demand much from men in the qualities she deems important.

I can't speak for all women; I can't even speak for unnatractive women. I'm attractive and fit, but I have small boobs (B cup). If I focus on what I don't have, I feel awful about myself, but if I focus on what I do have (beauty, a great ass, a tight body), I feel like I can attract a better mate.

Obviously, a man whose favorite thing is big boobs is not going to want me. Knowing that there is a pretty good percentage of men I can't attract without plastic surgery definitely bothers me, so I try not to think about it and shut up when guys start talking about their preference for big boobs. I couldn't imagine having zero physical redeeming qualities. If I were ugly, I'd be SOL.

A woman's attractivness directly affects her self worth. That's why women lie to themselves instead of focusing on getting better; they would first have to accept that they need to improve, which would be a huge blow to the ego because self image is so tied up in self worth.

Cognitive dissonance-The truth makes them so uncomfortable they would rather believe a lie.

With knowledge comes grief. But ignorance is blissful. They chose bliss.

It's the wrong choice but it's the one that requires the least amount of effort. They can just "be themselves." People who take the knowledge route understand they have to improve themselves, which is a lifetime endeavor. Most people are too lazy to do that shit.

Female solipsism.

Some women just cannot understand that not every person is entitled to the same quality mate. Thus, the "fat acceptance" movement, HAES, etc.

The ones with common sense and good work ethic realize that in order to get a high-value male, they have to become a high-value female.

Well, imagine if someone told you "You're unintelligent and devoid of talent, a life of menial labor for close to minimum wage is the best you can hope for".

(The analogy is relevant due to sexual objects/status objects paradigm)

You'd say "Fuck you!" and try to apply to college anyway, even if it was mostly true.

It's the same way with women, it's easy to understand that you have some limitations, that you won't be a movie star or an astronaut, but accepting the fact that you're at the bottom of the desirability ladder, looking up at your peers living the good, or at least adequate life can be utterly crushing. Frankly, I empathize with ugly girls and try to cut them some slack.

For the record: I'm talking about the genuine losers at the genetic lottery, delusional fat chicks with fake conditions can go fuck themselves.
