Intro

The beta male seeks eternity by following all the rules. He pleases others (especially his girlfriend), shows up to work on time, and never questions the mainstream narrative. In return, he expects to live a long life in which health, wealth, and happiness are all but guaranteed.

Body

If these things aren’t present in his life at the moment (which is usually the case), the beta male assumes they are “just over the rainbow” and will come in the near future.

The beta male uses a sort of faux rationality to escape death. He believes that salvation will come from technology, or social Progress, or when he finds a girlfriend. If these things fail to satisfy him, then salvation will be found once he gets rich or once he's able to retire.

And so 'round and 'round the hampster wheel goes, as the beta male does every thing he can to distract himself from the creeping inevitability of his demise. He'll go his whole life without ever truly living in the moment.

Fucking zombies. They seem to assume dying at 90 in a suburban retirement home is the ultimate goal of life.

Conclusion

Fellas, death is a part of life. Mortality is an objective fact of existence and therefore needs to be included in the worldview you carry on a daily basis. Regardless of how much money you make, how often you go to co-ed Yoga, or how much your girlfriend’s parents like you, you are going to die.

Make all of your decisions with this fact in mind. Obviously, this doesn't mean you neglect planning for the future (do your planning...just do it NOW!) What it does mean is your actions need to reflect how you want to live for eternity.

Live each day like it's your last!

This attitude will help you order your decisions and actions a lot more rationally. You'll learn to tap into your True Will, and cut away all the extraneous bullshit.

I don’t bring up death to be depressing or morose. Rather, I want to urge guys to come into a stoic acceptance of what life entails, since doing so leads to another level of existence in which you become fearless.
