This is the rationalization hamster in action. Over there somewhere, in the next county or something, there's a huge pool of upper middle class guys she can pick from whenever she likes. They may not be a handsome wealthy celebrity like the man she is currently aiming for, but they are still good looking and earn enough that she won't feel like she is "settling". Of course any one of them will want to marry her almost instantly. Since women can have babies into their late 40s she still has plenty of time to keep searching for her Chad, right? Right!?
