I know about the sex thing (i'm new in the faith so there's a lot to learn). It's said that the husband owns the wifes body and the wife owns the husbands body - so sex shouldn't be denied. Some also believe that a sex drive/big sex drive is "unholy" but this is unlogical is it not? God has given us a sex drive, but he also gave us an outlet for it - being the marriage.

The first command from God was "be fruitful and multiply". I've heard of some people thinking large sex drives are sinful, but there is no scriptural evidence I know of to support that view. It sounds like something preached in a feminized church. Then again, polygamy is practiced in the text and only expressly forbidden to church leaders. Evangelicalism is a movement (not a denomination) within the Christian Church that was started and popularized by Billy Graham in the post-world war 2 era. It began innocently enough by focusing on the basic elements of Christianity and trying to just get people "in the door" of the church. It simplified the Faith in order to make it relevant. Every church now has a band, thanks to evangelicalism, to "appeal to the youth". The problem with this approach is that the version of Christ presented lacks depth, nuance and more difficult lessons yearned for by believers everywhere. It makes Christianity boring and gives the impression of "oh, that's all?". As a result, many Christians don't know much of anything about their own faith and the youth they were trying to appeal to fall away very easily. There is a movement, Calvinism, that's making a comeback thanks to this fallout, which emphasizes the difficult nature of faith.
