If she is unwilling to abort, or can’t afford to do so, why is she not looking to adopt out the baby. Colorado, in particular, allows for situations where the adoption is arranged for and the adopting couple cover all medical and pregnancy-related expenses. This would solve her money problems and help assure that her child is raised in a good home.

Why does she think there are only two choices? She can leave her child at a hospital, fire station, or police department under Safe Haven Laws. Or is her ego so big that she thinks only she can raise the child and if not her then it means the child's death? Given her track record for decision making, a random couple has a far better chance giving that child a better future than she could.

But no, we have the "abortion is a women's health issue" cabal spreading the nessage that abortion is simply a routine procedure. Abortion is the bread and butter of Planned Parenthood, and they sure as hell have no incentive to tell women that there are non child murdering options out there for women. And I will not accept any excuses like "overpopulation is a huge problem" (most developed countries are below replacement for our birth rates) or "so many children are left stranded in foster homes" (babies are still not available at level of demand for couples looking to adopt, babies get adopted very quickly, long waiting lists). She can make both a moral and practical decision, but she has been programmed to only think of abortion.

The mature thing is to be sure the father is okay with an abortion. If both parents don't want the kid, then both can pay for the abortion and rid the curse of plaguing the world with another future criminal. Otherwise, she can take daddy to court for child support either in the form of joint custody or one of them just pays the other whoever has full custody.

If the dad wants the kid, and she doesn't, then the kid needs to be born with the dad having full custody and she needs to owe up by paying him support.

I'm not as hard rigid against abortions for poor trash that shouldn't be having kids as I am against capable people with the resources to take care of kids getting abortions, but that's just me.
