Absolutely do not link your social media’s to your datings apps. It’s a safety concern, and makes it easier for men who may not even be actively engaging with you to start following your profiles and keep tabs on you. I would remove your IG and change your dating pictures to ones not readily available on your socials.

And if it’s been a week, and no request for a date, or clear expressed interest in planning, he’s not that interested.

I would strongly recommend locking down your instagram for your safety sis. As for guy 1, that comes across as CREEPY imo.

For guy 2, i thought the handbook might have addressed this situation but i can't recall exactly. I would expect to be asked on a date at the one week mark but might wait for two weeks. If nothing by then, he's just keeping you as an option.

Secondly, you are not being nitpicky, that is just your intuition picking up on the reality.

My suggestion is to delete your OLD profiles for a minimum of 6 weeks and recharge. Delete them, don't just pause, so you won't be tempted to redownload too soon or you're thinking about what matches you're racking up and wasting mental energy. Remove it entirely from your life. I'm a firm believer that these apps punish 'picky' women who have accounts on there for a long time in an attempt to lower their standards (a benefit to the main consumers of the apps, men), and also hold back their high quality matches to force you into paying to get ore matches. If you are starting to doubt yourself, your standards, and starting to feel hopeless, it means you're getting burnt out and need to refocus on yourself.

I find wink faces creepy too lol. Honestly though, when it comes to OLD, I stop responding at any weird vibe/sign, big or small. I think that if something good is going to come of OLD, it’s going to feel natural and have only positive signs from the get-go. Trust your intuition for sure, we sense these things for a reason.

Also, as for guy #2, he’s definitely just keeping you as an option and it’d be worth your while to just block him, imo.

Since you linked your instagram to the OLD app, it's not weird for him to look. Initially I thought maybe he did not follow on instagram to not intrude and see first if there is a connection, which I find nothing wrong with, but the wink really bothered me for some reason, and it made me think of what you said, implying qualification.
With guy #2, you are not his first choice.
