I am trying to understand if the person I spent 6 months was a narcissist because I think it would be useful for my own healing and understanding. I'm going to list some of the things I experienced, and it would be great if anyone could tell me if they have experienced it too and if they think this falls in line with NPD...

- Love-bombing. Grand gestures of love and adoration. Not shy to show it in front of friends and family members.
- Very early on saying that we are the same person, that we are so similar. That we have a crazy connection.
- Lots of communication, text messaging constantly, and persistence to spend time together.
- Lots of complaining about EX partner, saying that they traumatised him. Still in touch with them though?
- Very defensive.
- Extreme. Wanting everything, a future, a family, the ultimate relationship.
- Discarding, and withdrawing affection/attention and then coming back afterwards, even when they have categorically said they don't want you.
- No shame?? Not even that embarrassed about ways that they have mistreated you.
- Not being able to handle conflict and distancing as soon as there is a minor disagreement.
- Words not matching up with actions.
- Accusing you of things that they actually did to you.
- Unpredictable and inconsistent mood.
- Agreeing that they need help/turning against you and saying they don't

- Mirroring text messages. Only putting kisses if you do, and not putting them if you don't and the exact amount.

- Apologising for behaviour but then doing it again.

- Obsession with physical appearance.

- Being totally on board with an idea or future, and then suddenly not wanting it at all.

- Acting possessive or jealous.

- Everything is centred around how they are 'feeling'.

- Treating you amazingly well at points, better than anyone else has. Also treating you the worse than anyone else has.

- Feeling very intensely.

It's a pretty long list of things I've experienced, and there is heaps more, but yeah any insight would be really helpful - TVM!
