Ok , not my question! My friend hasn’t been approved to post here yet and asked me to post.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years now and we have a very loving and stable relationship. We do not live together and live about a 25 minute drive away from each other. The main issue is, I don’t drive. I don’t plan on getting my licence or learning because quite frankly, it scares me a lot and I’m just too anxious to be on the road. When I first met my boyfriend, he would give me rides all the time; picking me up and dropping me off and taking me to places I needed to go. When we first met, I had not done lessons yet but still felt a bit apprehensive. He tried to teach me and was very patient but I was just too anxious and it was then that I decided driving was not for me. Lately, he seems tired of giving me rides. He will sometimes, but he also has been saying that I should use other methods of transportation and can’t be picking me up or dropping me off all the time. We also had been talking about taking a road trip in the summer but he seemed less excited by it and when I pressed, he said it was because he would be the one driving and it would be exhausting. I was hurt, he knew how much I wanted to go on this trip and had been really looking forward to it. It’s also not like I would not have pitched in for gas or helped him navigate. I feel like I will ultimately need a partner who is willing to give me rides and be understanding of my decision not to drive. Is it worth breaking up over ? Am i being too picky?
